The rates were great, and upon joining I received some one on one time with a personal trainer. The equipment is always new - they are constantly putting in new machines and trading out used ones. Several Cybex machines/weights - all made to be easy on your body and supporting proper technique. Plus, unlike Helena's other gyms - this place isn't overrun by tiny tots or teeny boppers trying to impress anyone. It's a limited membership (18 and older, though I think at age 20 I was one of the youngest working out here). The staff is all very helpful and will help you meet goals, and record them - they provide you with a personal file that you can pull out and use each time you're there, complete with training logs. Shower and locker rooms are always clean, too. I haven't been there in a few months, but I hear they're expanding the location to also provide classes and such? Better yet!

Me, my wife, and our girls, 9, 7, and 5 years old, had a great time on the slides, and also on the diving board. We wish the second board would have been open, but at least one was, and it was very fun to bounce off and dive deep. The green water slide, everyone said it hurt your back, but I barely felt any discomfort, and I went on it between 20-25 times. It was great because you have to be quite tall so there was no line, and you go FAST! The blue waterside was the one all the kids could go on but it was much slower and wound around. It's still fun but much less interesting than the faster one. It took 5-10 minutes to get through the line too. As for the locker rooms, they were spacious and clean enough. The refreshments stand was out of most everything, as this was the next to last day of the year, and of course they don't want to get stuck with a bunch of food, but the food that was there and the listings looked like it was a pretty good selection and reasonable prices as well. Our family of 5 could go there for $18.50, and we spent nearly 4 hours swimming. It's a good value at that rate. They need to add more chairs in some of the emptier areas though, as there wasn't much room left to sit. We will come again next year!

I called and left messages, I was ignored by the owner, Ju**. When I was able to reach J**y, she told me that she's been doing this for 30 years and they don't make mistakes. Take it up with the manufacturer, it's their fault. I will never give my business to Buffalo Jump Archery or the owner, J*d*. These people are crooks, don't be surprised if your equipment falls apart in the field after Buffalo Jump Archery works on it.

There are some pros and cons to this shop. They have a decent selection of bows (although could…read morecarry more), they have a great selection of accessories and archery tool and equipment, and the indoor range is a great resource. Ive met two of the three guys that work there (cant remember their names) and they are pretty good from the limited experience I have had with them. Judy is a nice lady and pretty honest about services she cant provide herself, which I appreciate. The frustrating thing about this shop is if you want to get your bow tuned it has to be on a Wednesday, and only a Wednesday to have one guy do it. None of the guys work on the weekend so even if you have to have simple work done on a press, you cant because Judy is the only one who works weekends and shes pretty much only able to sell product. Again, I appreciate that she is honest and doesnt want to mess with people's bows when she shouldnt. But trying to make it into the shop after work on a week day is really difficult, especially when tuning can take a good amount of time. I have heard this shop may be getting bought out and I honestly hope it does, in hopes that the hours can improve for providing all archery services. Im at the point where Im about to pull the trigger on buying my own pretty so I can do all archery work myself. Which sucks because I want local shops to get business. They just arent helping themselves right now.
