To say that I'm shocked by the service, namely from the owner (Helen), this nothing to say! She chases customers with messages 24/7 especially about money not considering the time of day or night! I took 10 classes for 350$ and there was mistake from their service with payment and she found out a couple weeks later that I did not pay for one class even though I recieved a message that I have left no classes and would I like to take another 10 classes for 350$ or pay just for single class 40$ every time. And there was the answer: My 10 classes payment had an expiration!!!! Like seriously????? She said I should've read contract, so this women kept texting me at night time non stop to telling me that I'm a chip sneaky person and shoplifter!!!! And important point! After her first message that i have to pay for one more class and can she charge from my card I texted her back that I'm not sure that I have to pay and I'll check tomorrow and let her know. And instead of it she kept texting and asking to use my card!!!!! Excuse me!!!! Who can treat their customers like that??? No respect! No subordination!!! Now she threatens me to tell every studios that I'm a liar! So people, please, who has been experienced with this person like me please contact me and we can prepare a general complaint with a lawyer about inappropriate service and personal abuse. There's is just a couple of her messages I can provide more.

    The workout was really intensive!

Unreasonable expectations for a group fitness class. They leach money from you. Evident from other reviews.

The overall management and customer service here could be better... The front desk staff are often rude, unprofessional, and more focused on their phones and Instagram than helping customers. It is also always a different person, so you can see this is a mess. But the real problem lies with the hot pilates classes and instructors. It's clear many of them are not properly qualified or trained... The classes feel overcrowded, to the point that you're uncomfortably close to other students - I shouldn't be able to smell someone else's body odor during a workout, right?! The instructors also seem more concerned with their own performance than providing a good experience for students. They bark orders without any regard for form or safety. I left many classes feeling frustrated and sore in all the wrong ways... Needless to say, I won't be returning :) There are so many other great fitness studios in Brooklyn, I can't recommend wasting your time or money here. Save yourself the headache and find a pilates studio that actually cares about its members. Indeed... hell. Thank you.

Everything else about this place, including the owner Kseniya is an ongoing disaster. Starting from a filthy, gross, smelly bathroom, that they "demand" you wear socks to go to , training a whole summer with a broken AC, a clique-like "social club" atmosphere, where you have people (up to 2-4 at a time) talking about anything and everything during a "pilates mind/body" class, and the owner doesn't care. It can easily become a hostile environment, because it is Disruptive to having a meaningful focused workout, and once again, having cameras there, the owner doesnt care to address the issue (or any other issues). She simply doesnt give a sht about anything that goes on there. The last "straw" was her trying to scam me for a holiday "promo". She refused to accommodate an ongoing promo that she charged me for 20 classes, refused to refund my $, and I had to dispute the charges w my Amex cc. Eventually, she was "forced" by Amex to refund my $. Zero appreciation and professionalism for clients (and trainers) who have been loyal w the studio for an extended period of time. Good trainers leave, loyal clients leave bc there are 3 other pilates studios in the same vicinity. The owner Kseniya is often dismissive of ANY concern that a client may have, she refuses to pick up/text back in a Timely professional manner, inaccessible, and simply has a "whatever" attitude towards clients. Don't waste your $$ here. Much better options: Lux Pilates & Ira Pilates.

When you confront them about it, instead of resolving the issue, they charge you an additional $100 as a so-called "cancellation fee"--something they never warn you about. Booking a class is a nightmare because you have to reserve a spot at least a week in advance. If you miss a class, they not only count it as used but also charge you an extra $15 for every missed session. On top of that, the studio doesn't even have proper changing rooms. You're expected to change in the bathroom or out in the hallway in full view of everyone--men and women included. This place is nothing more than a money-grabbing scheme hiding behind a polished image. The service is appalling for the price they charge, and their treatment of customers is unacceptable. Save your time, money, and sanity go elsewhere where you will be treated well as a customer, even Club Pilates has better service and policy than this place
