I booked the Miami Mega Tour as a surprise for my girlfriend who never had flown in a helicopter before. The price was $199 per person, which I thought was a good deal, especially since we wouldn't have to share the helicopter with other people as some helicopter tours require you to do. It was a little bit of a drive to the airport from South Beach where we were staying at for the weekend, but it was worth it. Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted by a male host who gave us a brief talk about procedure about approaching the helicopter and such. He advised that we could take as many pictures as we wanted during the flight. We only had to wait less than 5 minutes before the helicopter touched down after completing its flight with another couple. We were then escorted to the helicopter, which the host offered to take pics of us in front of it before we got in. He did a great job. I had the option of sitting up front with the pilot, but I opted to sit in the back with my girlfriend to enjoy the experience with her, even though leg space was cramped due to my 6'5 height. The only issue I had was the use of the headset, which you had to place the mic right in front of your mouth in order for the pilot and companions can hear you. During this COVID-19 pandemic, I felt precautions should have been followed to disinfect the headsets and mic between each tour, but they weren't. Luckily, I was vaccinated last month, but for others who haven't, it could be a health issue. Mike Myer (without an s) was our pilot and was pleasantly nice and informative as he flew us around certain areas of Miami and South Beach. He pointed out different spots ranging from celebrity homes, including former homes of Jeff Bezos and Lebron James, to a location of a movie scenes where Wild Things was filmed at. We had a good connection with Mike since he lived in the Dallas area (where were visiting from) for a few years, so we briefly talked about that. Before we knew it, our 30 minute tour was over unfortunately, and we safely landed. I would highly recommend this company to fly a tour with. I would love to come back and fly the hour long tour because the 30 minute tour went by too fast. read more

I was lucky enough to get service from Heli Air Miami prior to this global pandemic and had forgotten to write a review until I got an email from them, so thank you Heli Air! Right off the bat I was impressed with everything about Heli Air. All of the office staff were very friendly, polite and answered all of my questions which made me feel very comfortable before even approaching the tarmac. Then I met our pilot, who again, lived up to the same expectation already met with the office staff. Not only was he knowledgeable and informative about what we would be doing, all of the necessary safety precautions, and answering our questions, but he had us cracking up mid flight with jokes! I knew I would have a smile on my face in the air but had no idea my stomach would be hurting from laughing. The views over Miami were incredible and the pilot was sure to point out all the interesting buildings and hot spots from above. We got some amazing photos from the flight which will be framed in our home shortly. This was money well spent. Overall very impressed and satisfied with everything from start to finish with Heli Air Miami. I will definitely be booking again. read more

I recently had the opportunity to take a helicopter tour with them and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The views of Miami were simply breathtaking. We soared over the city's iconic landmarks, such as the Miami Beach, the Art Deco District, and the downtown skyline. Our pilot also pointed out lesser-known sights that we would have never seen from the ground, like hidden beaches, luxury yachts, and celebrity homes along the way. Overall, I had an incredible time on the tour and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and memorable way to see Miami and it's surroundings. Coming in from out of town (LA) and a helicopter ride was at the top of my thrill seeking list. Big thanks to Wayne for scheduling me for the 1 day I was going to be able to enjoy this excursion. The trip was short (20 minutes) but very sweet (we did skip South Beach) but got to see tons of other cool spots including Biscayne Bay - including a fly by of my hotel! Bryan, the pilot, was awesome, had a full schedule, but ensured I was comfortable. Overall an amazing and truly memorable experience. Thanks to Heli Air Miami and its owner Wayne, we just had the most special day of our lives. With the help of Wayne, I was able to plan the most perfect proposal. He was not only responsive but was as excited as I was to make this experience special and memorable. He provided a great photographer to capture the entire experience prior, during, and post flight when I proposed. He even surprised us with a dozen roses and bottle of champagne that was delivered right to us on the runway just after she said yes. We took the "30 MINUTE MIAMI MEGA TOUR" with my son, our first time in a helicopter. Elliot was our pilot, and the experience was really great. The flight was smooth and controlled, Elliot gave us an overview of Miami, Miami beach, the shore, etc, we even saw manatees in the bay. I was expecting something more bumpy or scary, but not at all, everything was perfect, and really comfortable. Amazing afternoon. Bryan was beyond professional, personable and knowledgeable. I will certainly book this again and request him if at all possible. This was an spectacular experience for both my wife and I. I decided to take my wife for an afternoon flight on her birthday. I would recommend it to anyone an unforgettable experience.
