El Cristo Restaurant with excellent Cuban empanadas

We took the Little Havana food and culture walking tour. Ariel was our wonderful tour guide. We visited great variety of stops and delicious foods: excellent Cuban empanadas, Cuban sandwich, croquetas with fish and with spinach, Mojitos and Daiquiris. Great sunny day. Saw Dominoes Park, Pig of Bays memorial sculptures, Rooster alley, rolling Cuban cigars demo. Highly recommend.

This tour was absolutely amazing! Arnaud was fantastic, filling the experience with rich historical information and architectural insights. We loved all the stops, and the food along the way was so good! We are incredibly happy we took this tour. A wonderful way to get to know South Beach --highly recommend!

We booked this tour on the Get Your Guide app. It was awesome from step 1 and didn't disappoint through tour the 3 hour tour. The food and the art were spectacular! The best Birria tacos I have ever eaten is how we started. Then we walked about Maryam was so thorough is her descriptions of the art and artists in the neighborhood! Next food stop was samosas, delicious and the restaurant was beautiful!! More art then we had a tropical sandwich that was to die for-mozzarella, tomato, basil, mango and pineapple-such a unique and delicious sandwich. The vinaigrette that was in the sandwich I bought a bottle to bring home More art and food stop #4 Joe's Pizza-new York style foldable and everything. More murals and then a cookie from Night Owl. We loved hearing the stories about the commissioned artists, some of their trademarks to notice as we walked around, and the different mediums they use to 'paint' their murals. All in all we met great people, ate fantastic food, and saw some beautiful, meaningful art. We ended at the Wynwood museum, we could explore there as long as we wished. Highly recommend!!!

I highly recommend the Little Havana tour. There are so many cool restaurants, shops, and pieces of Miami and Cuban History! Alan was my tour guide. He was so friendly and really knew his facts. I loved the Cuban sandwich and stopping by Domino Row. The highlight was stopping at Little Havana Social Club-the cigar shop. I actually stayed and hung out for a couple of hours after the tour. Highly recommend. I want to do the Wynwood tour next time

The Little Havana Food and Culture tour was just what we were hoping for. Liesner is a very knowledgeable and personable guide. He gave us lots of interesting background about Cuba and the residents and businesses that make up Little Havana. He welcomed questions and answered every one I had. It is such a colorful and vibrant community. I loved the wall murals, street art, music, and of course, the food! We had 5 culinary stops and did not leave hungry. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to learn more about the area, culture and food of Little Havana.

Beyond exceptional! We did the Wynwood and South Beach tours with Alan. Tons of information, tons of history, the most amazing food, the most amazing entertainment. Highly Highly Recommend. Alan lives here so he is able to show you things that you wouldn't ordinarily discover.

The best tour I've done so far! they picked the coolest spots in Wynwood, with delicious food and drinks. Filled us in with all the history about art and restaurants we visited. Highly recommend it to tourists and even Miami locals to discover the best spots ;) Soleil Bravo

As a proud Cuban who lives right in the neighborhood, she brought every street, mural, and bite to life with stories you won't find in any guidebook. * Expert storytelling: Toni blended history, culture, and fun facts so effortlessly that the past felt present around every corner. * Fantastic food line‑up: From the first crisp empanada to the last sip of strong Cuban espresso, every stop was spot‑on--and those freshly muddled mojitos were chef's kiss. * Behind‑the‑scenes moments: Watching master rollers craft cigars up close was fascinating, and Toni's insider connections meant we got front‑row views. * Warm local vibe: She knew shop owners by name, waved to neighbors, and made us feel like part of the community--not just tourists passing through. We loved every minute and every bite. If you want a tour that's flavorful, authentic, and led by someone who truly knows (and loves) LittleHavana, book with Toni. She brought ponchos so we could continue on as it rained. It was beautiful to learn about and see this neighborhood through the eyes of someone who grew up here. Toni knows so much history and seemed to know so many of the people, too! The tour has so much food - I was honestly more than full at the end and I didn't even finish all of my portions. I think it was a really good range of drinks, desserts, and food. Even though that coffee cup looks small, that's a full serving size and it was strong! I really really appreciate that this tour not only accommodated for vegetarians but also chose options for me that were realllllly good. Instead of the cubano, I had these fried plantain cups stuffed with veggies. They were SO good and seasoned well! And the spinach and cheese empanada was also amazing. My friend who got the meat options also loved her food. This tour is the perfect way to learn more about Cuban history, the history of the neighborhood, see all the street art, watch a game at domino park, and experience some of the best food in Miami. I cannot recommend this enough!!!

Danny also told lots of stories and we learned about the hobby of dominos with a Cuban twist, and the history of the Bay of Pigs. We first had bachata lesson at 8pm, followed by complimentary mojito and Cuban bites, then wrapped up with salsa lesson at 9:20pm. I wished salsa lesson was a full hour, followed by more fun salsa dancing with instructor dancing alongside (you know, cuz regular student folks won't keep dancing salsa on their own without pros' boosting presence) because afterwards everyone pretty much stopped dancing salsa after the last song after lesson ended. Then it was regular club time. Good vibe and we had fun. The wristband we got allowed free entry to the club downstairs so we could enjoy the cabaret performance and backstage live music band a bit too. We were given a short introduction and sat down to our first tasting starting with Margaritas, Home Made Chips with Red and Green Salsa and Brisket Quesadillas. What a great way to start the fun. Next stop was a real surprise, an Asian Street Food location off the beaten path called Goodies. We sampled a delicious fruit tea and a new item to me JianBing, an Asian chicken burrito with a crunch which made the taste and texture exceptional. We actually watched the chef create this on a crepe maker! (see video) This is a great affordable lunch stop in Delray! Next stop, Beer Trade company very conveniently located next door to Goodies. Everyone was offered a beer of their choice from a HUGE selection in the cold case and on tap. It all started in Maryland so Old Bay was a great addition to their Honey Old Bay wings recipe marinated in what else BEER. They were crispy and sweet with quite a kick! We also sampled the risotto balls - yummy! We walked a few blocks to stop #4 Death by Pizza! The owner Koby greeted us and gave us some background of this Detroit style pizza company which has become a very popular location two blocks off Atlantic. What a treat! This business is take-out only so we stood outside and sampled a square thick crispy crust slice topped with amazing cheese and tomato sauce known as The Enemy! I can see why..i gained a pound in the sampling but boy was it worth it!! Sadly one last stop, (i was FULL but having way too much fun) @ Dekes Coffee. Nico, a young visionary, gave us a full explanation of the coffee making process as we sampled an affogato, espresso shot over a scoop of vanilla ice cream. If you like strong unsweetened coffee, this is your coffee shop. From coffee plant to green coffee beans to the roasting process, we saw it all. Unfortunately, I don't remember where the coffee beans originated in our espresso affogato, however Nico spoke of Ethiopian coffee as one they serve often. I would highly recommend this tour as a chance to sample some great independent restaurants in Delray. Our group seemed to be most impressed with the gems we found off the beaten path.
