I booked a food tour with Bobbie's Bike Hike and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. I arrived well ahead of time, but after waiting 45 minutes after our start time the guide never showed up at the meeting point. I eventually had to leave. I was told a marathon was impacting traffic, but as a traveler who planned ahead and arrived on time, this is something the company should have anticipated and communicated more clearly. I also spent about $80 in Uber fees just getting to the meeting location, which added to the frustration. To their credit, the guide later connected me with the first food stop and arranged for tacos and issued a full refund, which I appreciated. However, the bigger disappointment was the lost opportunity--I could have booked a drag show or another tour during that time instead of waiting. Customer service tried to make things right after the fact, but better planning, proactive communication, and respect for guests' time would have made a big difference. read more

We booked this tour on the Get Your Guide app. It was awesome from step 1 and didn't disappoint through tour the 3 hour tour. The food and the art were spectacular! The best Birria tacos I have ever eaten is how we started. Then we walked about Maryam was so thorough is her descriptions of the art and artists in the neighborhood! Next food stop was samosas, delicious and the restaurant was beautiful!! More art then we had a tropical sandwich that was to die for-mozzarella, tomato, basil, mango and pineapple-such a unique and delicious sandwich. The vinaigrette that was in the sandwich I bought a bottle to bring home More art and food stop #4 Joe's Pizza-new York style foldable and everything. More murals and then a cookie from Night Owl. We loved hearing the stories about the commissioned artists, some of their trademarks to notice as we walked around, and the different mediums they use to 'paint' their murals. I highly recommend the Little Havana tour. There are so many cool restaurants, shops, and pieces of Miami and Cuban History! Alan was my tour guide. He was so friendly and really knew his facts. I loved the Cuban sandwich and stopping by Domino Row. The highlight was stopping at Little Havana Social Club-the cigar shop. I actually stayed and hung out for a couple of hours after the tour. Maria brought her personal connection to the tour and it was interesting to hear how a true local spoke of the area. Some monuments though were completely ignored and other parts of the tour missed the delivery due to timing like seeing cigar rolling in action, or the fruit stand being open. It was not appreciated that as Canadians she strongly suggested that Fidel Castro was the father of our Prime Minister and then called his mother (our former 'first lady') a "whore". I suggest she first look at her own country's leader's proclivities before issuing such vile and unfounded accusations. We will not be recommending your tour. read more

Did the Little Havana walking tour this last weekend. Great experience, delicious food. Mix of sitting down in restaurants and walking around the area. All walking was flat and did not feel strenuous. We ran into some rain and ponchos were provided for us. Our tour was on a Sunday, so it seemed that 1-2 stops were closed that day (Domino Park and a market) but the tour still felt very full. Our tour guide was very friendly and welcoming, did a great job creating a fun group dynamic. The tour did go over the scheduled time, so if you pay for your parking keep the end time in mind so you don't get a ticket! read more

Don't think about it, just book! Booked the Little Havana Food Tour with my sisters and it was amazing! We really enjoyed ourselves. We were lucky to get Alan that day. We got the VIP packages which includes drinks. I don't drink alcohol, but had non-alcoholic versions of the drinks. If you want to do mocktails, I recommend reaching out to handle that prior. For the food tour you not only get to explore a few restaurants in the area and try different dishes, but learn the history of the area. We came back the next day for dinner. I feel more confident visiting Little Havana because of this tour. I now know what to do and where to go when visiting this area. I would definitely book another tour with this company. If you're a foodie, want to explore a new area, or need a fun activity for a group trip book this tour! **Also don't eat before you come. We didn't and ended the tour full. We did the Wynwood Walls food and walking tour. Our tour guide Noelle was very knowledgeable of Miami, the murals, and the food choices we had for the day. Not much walking between stops but probably due to the size of the area. Do not eat before going. Lots of food given in this tour. We did have one in our group that was gluten allergic that was confirmed by our tour guide but the restaurants didn't make any accommodations. (Reason for taking one star off) We knew going in he may not be able to enjoy the food given. The murals were amazing. So was the food! read more

I felt very fortunate recently to have joined an amazing tour of the Art Deco neighborhood of world famous South Beach. Alan, our tour guide was incredibly well-versed in not only historical facts of every street corner we crossed, but also wonderful anecdotes of all the many famous people and their infamous escapades. The distance walked was well-planned, and more than doable, even for the most exercise averse among us (particularly me). The food was excellent and they did a great job varying the types of food and cultural origins. A true taste of Miami! I was almost too full to finish the incredible desert on Espanola Way, where the tour ended with street serenades from local buskers, and a fantastically written and recited poem from our own tour guide! I am a native Miamian and still learned so much on this beautiful jaunt through our most famous district. I couldn't recommend this tour more, or this tour guide. I'll be back soon! read more

Fun and delicious tour, indeed! The Wynwood street art is incredible! There is so much to see! I've been living in Miami for the past 3 years, and this was my first tour. It was finally nice to learn a bit about some of the artists; not to mention, some of the local restaurants had interesting root stories, too. At the end of the tour I was impressed to learn that La Tropical was the oldest brewery in Cuba; it has an amazing story of how the concept and brewery finally came to its fruition in Miami.
