It's always a great experience and my health focus is a priority. I have had an easy transition from my last doctor of 20 years to here.

I have been a patient of Dr. O'Connell for many years now and I have had only great experiences…read morewith everyone there. The front desk staff are friendly, helpful and always willing to try and find you an appointment time and day that will work for you. Dr. O'Connell's nurse is very patient and handles messages that I send her (frequently) in a timely manner, often within a very short period of time. Kristi is extremely helpful, knowledgeable and does a fabulous job. Dr. O'Connell is the best doctor, by far that I have ever had. He is truly concerned about and committed to his patients. He does everything he possibly can to meet my needs, answers questions truthfully and explains everything to my satisfaction. I just can't imagine having a better experience anywhere else then I do at MANA North. They are all pretty amazing professionals! Thank you for all that you do. Veronica W

The front desk staff, when not gossiping about their most recent dates, which I had to listen to…read moreone day while they could not seem to get a follow-up appointment scheduled and my copay processed is rude and inconvenienced by the simplest of questions. They act as though they are too busy to help. I guess they are too busy discussing their social lives! I would send messages through the portal for an appointment and they seldom responded in a timely manner. If they did respond, they give you excuses to cover the fact that they ignored or forgot to check the portal. If you need anything within several days that is not going to happen. They will refer you to their MANA Urgent Care clinics because it is apparently too hard to schedule you with your PCP. Random charges are affixed to your account for asking a question through the portal. I have never had this happen at any of the MANA clinics before I switched to MANA-North Fayetteville. If you leave a message for the clinic manager she won't call you back. I am done with this circus I have another PCP lined up out of the MANA system. The office experience ruins the entire clinic. This review is not a reflection of the care that I received from Dr. Abby Baldwin or Dr. Lauren Thompson both are wonderful doctors and I strongly reccomend either. If you want a rude administrative staff and an office manager who does not return calls to simple questions then this is your place. Common sense and patient service seems to have left the equation.

Dr. Mark Bonner truly cares about patients and understanding their health in its entirety. If you…read moreneed it be in and out quickly I advise an appointment closer to opening hours. Some patient visits do take longer, and at times mine is one of those. Also, don't be hesitant to see a nurse practitioner, PA or the DO (also a physician) that is there! They have all went through extensive schooling, and if there is something they are not 100% on they will use resources or one another to help the patient. I trust them whole heartedly, and I am a Pharm. D. myself. Thank you for providing outstanding care within our community Mission Family Practice.

FORMAL PUBLIC REVIEW -- SERIOUS CONCERNS REGARDING PATIENT CARE, COMMUNICATION, AND REFUSAL TO…read morePROVIDE ORDERED DIAGNOSTIC SERVICES After approximately 10 years as a patient of Mission Family Practice of Fayetteville, I never imagined I would feel compelled to write a review like this. Unfortunately, my most recent experience has been so unacceptable that I believe it needs to be brought to the attention of both the public and the appropriate regulatory authorities. For years, I have experienced poor attitudes and a lack of professionalism from staff at this practice. However, my most recent experience went far beyond poor customer service. It involved conflicting instructions from staff regarding a diagnostic test that I had been told I needed. I had blood work performed while I was in Indiana, and the results were sent through Labcorp. When I went to Mission Family Practice, I brought my laboratory results and diagnostic information with me and asked Trent to review the results with me. I was told that I needed a chest X-ray. I was also specifically told that the person who performs X-rays at the office is frequently absent and that her availability can be unpredictable. I was instructed to call ahead before coming to the office to make sure she was there. I was also told that I did not need an appointment for the X-ray and that I simply needed to call ahead to verify that the technician would be available. I did exactly what I was instructed to do. I called the office the following day and specifically asked whether the person performing the X-rays would be there because I wanted to get this diagnostic test completed and behind me. Instead of receiving a straightforward answer, I was told that the employee I was speaking with did not believe Trent had told me that I could come in without an appointment. That is extremely troubling. I followed the instructions given to me by the medical staff. I did not simply show up demanding a service. I specifically called beforehand because I had been instructed to do so. I have documentation of my conversation with Trent confirming the instructions I was given, including that I should call ahead and verify that the X-ray technician was there and that I did not need an appointment. Despite following those instructions, I was ultimately refused the X-ray at the office. I want to be very clear: I am not claiming in this review that a specific law was violated. That is for the appropriate regulatory authorities to determine. However, I consider what happened serious enough that I intend to submit a formal complaint to the Arkansas State Medical Board and/or the appropriate Arkansas healthcare regulatory agency and request that the circumstances surrounding this incident be reviewed. My concerns include: * Conflicting and inconsistent instructions from medical office staff * Failure to properly communicate information regarding a diagnostic test I was told I needed * Being instructed to call ahead and then being told those instructions were not valid * Being turned away after following the instructions I was given * The overall attitude and treatment I have repeatedly experienced as a longtime patient * Concerns regarding whether patients are being provided appropriate continuity of care and clear instructions regarding ordered diagnostic services After being a patient for approximately 10 years, I find it incredibly disappointing that something as important as healthcare can be handled with such poor communication and disregard for the patient. Patients should not have to argue with the people responsible for coordinating their medical care. Patients should not have to wonder which employee's instructions they are supposed to follow. And patients should certainly not have to repeatedly call an office, follow the instructions they were given, and then be told those instructions apparently never existed. I will be taking my medical care elsewhere. I will also be documenting this incident and providing the appropriate authorities with the information I have available, including the dates of my interactions, the names of the individuals involved, my medical documentation, and documentation of the instructions I received. I sincerely hope this situation is investigated--not simply for my sake, but for the sake of other patients who may not feel comfortable speaking up for themselves. Ten years as a patient should have meant something. Unfortunately, this experience has completely destroyed my confidence in this practice. I strongly encourage anyone receiving care here to advocate for themselves, document conversations, ask questions, and make sure they understand exactly what is being ordered and what they are expected to do.
