Every week she learns something new: new styles, materials, and techniques. Sometimes they focus on painting, other times on sculpture or different forms of art. Katia and Sara have both been her teachers, and she has felt happy and supported with all of them. Like with many activities at this age, it took a couple of weeks for her to fully adjust and feel familiar with the environment but consistency made a big difference. As parents, we appreciate seeing her come home excited and proud of what she created. It is easy to notice how much she has progressed over time and we get very excited when we see her project. We also appreciate the communication style of the school. They provide a high-level overview each week of what the kids will be working on, which keeps parents informed without overwhelming us with too much information. On the administrative side, tuition payments and renewals are simple, and the staff has always been friendly and helpful whenever we have had questions or needed help resolving any mistakes on our part. We also love the location. Depending on the day and who is with me, it is easy to wait nearby at the library, a coffee shop, or a restaurant while class is in session.

They were always helpful, patient, and really knew what they were talking about. They made learning fun and made sure we felt prepared every step of the way. Because of this program, I was able to pass my AMCA certification exam, learn so many new skills, and make friendships that I'll have for a long time. I'm so thankful for everything I learned and would definitely recommend this program to anyone thinking about becoming a Clinical Medical Assistant!

I did the five-week EMT program at CalRegional Fairfield, and I think it is important to be…read morerealistic about what you are signing up for. Yes, I finished the program and got my EMT certificate, but I was not very satisfied with the learning experience. I went into the course because I actually wanted to understand the material and build a strong foundation, not just pass the exams and get certified. A lot of the time, I felt like I was teaching myself. The program is obviously accelerated, but the bigger problem for me was the lack of structure. The first half of the day was usually lecture and the second half was skills, but we would sometimes finish an hour or more early and just be told to work on homework. I would have much rather used that time to review difficult topics, practice scenarios, or ask questions. Our main instructor was newer, and you could tell at times. The lectures were not very helpful for me, and most of my actual learning came from studying independently using the materials they gave us and other resources. Some of their study materials were useful, but practice exams were often released only the night before or a couple nights before an exam. That made it hard to use them to actually learn the material instead of just figuring out what was likely to be tested. We were also required to buy a workbook that cost around $100 and complete assignments from it, but the work was mostly just signed off without being seriously reviewed. That made it feel like expensive busywork. There were also some things that made the class feel less professional than I expected, including entertainment clips or movies being played during downtime while people were trying to study. I eventually brought some of my concerns to management. To their credit, they were receptive, and I did notice more effort and organization toward the end of the program. The skills instructors were probably the strongest part of the course. They were helpful and did a much better job preparing us for practical testing and patient assessments. So overall, if you just want an accelerated route to certification and you are good at studying on your own, this program may work for you. But if you are choosing an EMT program because you really want to learn the material and feel confident in what you are being taught, I would personally look into a longer program or compare other schools first. I got the certificate, but if I were choosing again based purely on the quality of the education, I would probably go a different route.

I did the Biotechnology Program and the Automotive Specialist Program, both were amazing. Now when I go to get my car looked, at I feel confident at calling bullshit when they tell me my engine needs to be replaced or something is leaking. Not only that, the skills have saved me money! Now I can do the car stuff myself. Highly recommended. Even better, these courses cost only $80 and are free if you are in high school!! What a great deal considering how much a college degree or even an AA can cost. I really want to go back and take more classes!!!

Enrollment fee back then was around $80 per class. We would usually read the book ourselves, and then watch some videos about Medical terminology. Although the classes at times can be a bit boring (you spend 3 hours there sitting) ,my instructors were very helpful and makes sure you are on top of what needs to be done. Another good thing is that we were exposed to the work environment because of the internship that was offered. I gained a lot of skills from that. Regarding the facility, the computers are fairly new, the classrooms are nice and clean, and so are the restrooms. For a government facility of this type, it definitely deserves 4 stars.
