Terrible. If you spend money there, you will never get it back. No place to try on clothes. No bathroom.

I am a regular customer, I donate at least 4 times a year…read more I have donated everything from appliances, house hold items, lamps, clothes, every time I have a clean out it goes to Center of hope. While shopping the other day I found an item I was interested in, it was way over priced it was $15. So I ask them if they would take $10. For it . They said no they would not come down. It really made me think about all the items I hade given them over the years free for them to resale. I cannot even imagine how much all the items I gave them added up to. I'm sure close to over $1000. If not more over the years I have donated to them. Well they just lost my donation, over all the thrifts shops in the surrounding area I chose this one to donate to. I never dreamed they would refuse to come down on an Item that was given to them free that was already over protect $15. And I offered them $10. Do they not realize the stuff they get is free and comes from people like me who donated on a regular basis. Well I just want to let the manager of that store know how cheep and over priced your store is. You charge $2. For one dinner plate, if a person needed cups and saucer's they are also $2. Each that would be more than Walmart. Most important for me to let you know you just LOST ONE OF YOUR REGULAR DONORS OVER $5. You need to think about what you are doing to your customers and especially the people who keep you in business by giving you FREE stuff for you to over price and take advantage of. Everyone is talking about the high price you put on your items it's ridiculous, you keep treating your donors and customers like your some kinda big franchise and doing us a favor for you taking the stuff that is giving to you free and selling it back to us at over a 100% profit. You will soon be closing your doors, your prices are up there with Walmart and your the highest priced thrift store in this area. Good bye no more donations from this customer. I will give my free stuff to another thrift store in our area that I know appreciate donations and our business.

They feed you slop that is expired donations . You work 6 days a week and then have to attend bible…read moreservice where you have to stand . You can't take bathroom breaks when needed. While in the store I peed in a trash can out of desperation. Girls would say they'd rather be in prison; I'd agree. You have no autonomy. Your other time off is cleaning . Your other time off is studying the bible . If you get in trouble you have to write like 6 pages of the bible after you're tired from moving clothes at the thrift. No medical care at all. Girl got an infection in her tooth and if she leaves the facility-discharged. . Festering in a small space with no airflow ; people sick ALL the time . Also sick from the nasty on the clothes . The pastor , who was divorced , had multiple of the graduate girls living with him . They don't let you leave . You have to sneak out . And it's not easy if you don't have a phone and you're far from town , also without money . This place is TORTURE. Call it the center of hopelessness. The taxi driver I got on my way out called it a cult and 100% agree... also their product is shit . So ugly . And I'm not even saying that cuz I'm mad - their inventory is awful. Also , their advertising is bs . " individual and group counseling " . They do not counsel . You're made to remember bible verses and songs . The people who are going through this program have CRAZY trauma that needs to be addressed. People need Jesus . But they also need medical, psychiatric, mental care , proper diet and stress relief after coming from abuse and drug addiction
