They greet you by name, make sure you always have appts booked and take care of all your insurance needs. I've gone to several physical therapy centers over the years for various conditions which never needed extended care even though they try to get you to treat forever. As one of my doctors once told me "go for a week, get your exercises printed out and then do them at home" No need to pay 3 co-pays a week for months. Anyway, I was currently treating for a hip replacement, so I did need extended care. On my last visit here, (and I made it my last visit), I got my appointment time mixed up by a half hour, realized it while coming in the building and they called before going up, telling me my appointment was canceled. I went up anyway fully expecting to receive my remaining 35 minutes of therapy. The irritated receptionist claimed she had to check with the therapist as I waited . She came back to the desk and in a real nasty tone and told me he couldn't see me. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I WAS IN THE BUILDING! My therapist wasn't treating someone else as they don't take walk ins for my time slot. Yes, my first time being late for my one hour time slot was my fault. And I was fully willing to pay my co-pay(still am) but this isn't a medical office where a late arrival screws everything up. So a relative recommended Advantage Physical Therapy Center in Brick and I couldn't be happier. Dr. Dawkins Is Great. The results were immediate and I already recommended him to my primary doctor and orthopedist. It's a little further away but worth it to be treated with understanding and kindness.

She is so knowledgeable and caring and made a big difference in the treatment I received. Michelle took the time to see how I was progressing each visit and altered the treatment as needed. She took an interest in making sure I received the best care possible. I have had Physical therapy treatments many times in my life and Michelle is at the top of the list. All of the staff at the Manalapan location are also very kind, professional and go the extra yard as needed. I highly recommend this Kessler Center.

It's my first time to get PT done due to ankle problem and I'm glad I went to this place!!…read more I arrived at clinic with zero strength on my left leg due to months of being on cast. I was doubtful on how I can use my left leg again anytime soon. I was then evaluated by the therapist and she was clear on the objectives and plan of care. I went home with good understanding on what's going to happen and expectations on the first visit! I must admit that it was hard work during the exercises on the first few sessions but, I could actually feel the improvements and my treatment plan was adjusted based on my progression. Fast forward, I was doing agility training, running and jumping around the PT clinic. Ankle ROM wasn't 100% back to normal but close. But then, I wasn't expecting it due to screws and plate attached to my ankle that might be limiting full range of motion. Facility-wise, they had ample and practical equipment for your therapy needs. Everybody in the clinic were great, friendly and PT's and staff worked together as a team to have the best possible treatment plan!
