Her opinion of the value was significantly lower than other professionals in the business. Unfortunately you don't get to choose your appraiser.

Everything was completed and left immaculate in a matter of hours. They also sold what could be sold to dealers so that I received a partial refund on the job. What they do is priceless--when you yourself are having a hard time sorting through your possessions, whether that's because you can't let them go easily or are hung up trying to judge their value, Stefek's will take the burden off your hands and have it done including trash disposal and cleaning, all within hours. The emotional relief is absolutely worth their fee. I highly recommend Stefek's.

Everything looks carefully selected and most of the furniture is in great condition. If the condition isn't great, it's a lot cheaper. Lots of Asian inspired pieces, all fairly well priced. The tags all have approx dates too, which is cool. A lot of 18th century pieces in there. No antique store smell. Quiet music in the background (Jason mraz and the like). Cool rugs on the floor. Service - The older lady on register was really sweet and had a nice long talk with me. There wasn't anyone else in the shop so she was not neglecting any other customers. She wasn't pushy (I told her I was looking for jewelry, with they didn't have) she just liked chatting about the store.
