Hired Alex King to represent me in family court, and he was unprepared to fight for a father's…read morerights. I was completely embarrassed to have him representing me by the end of it. He talked with the defendant's attorney via email with a tone that he was just so annoyed by my needs in a custody agreement conflict. The defendant showed my family these emails in screenshots from her attorney. I thought it was very unprofessional of Mr. King to share this opinion of (me) his client with the defendants attorney. After a couple months of stress and failed "strategic" moves by Mr.King to FORCE negotiations like he would say.... The conflict was being offered only 53 or 56 overnights with my daughter. OUT OF AN ENTIRE YEAR! I absolutely refused. Mr. King urged me to accept this agreement. He said it was the best offer I could get. After two days of standing firm that I would go in front of a judge if I did not get more overnights, I was finally offered what I wanted from the defendant, over double the original offer of overnights. I would have lost so much time with my daughter if I had listened to Mr. King. He was a complete amateur in handling my case, & to me Mr. King seemed to be out for only his own personal interest. He did not want to fight for me when he was up against a challenge, a seasoned attorney representing the defendant, he even stated to me that he did not like the defendant's attorney. There is so much more information I have on Mr. King being a complete amateur, unprofessional, incompetent, and lack of empathy for a Man fighting for his rights as a father. In working with Scott over the years I have realized, had I hired him to handle my divorce originally, I wouldn't still be having all these issues years later. The nerve!
