Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service! Not only did they size our rings WRONG twice, they never soldered the rings like they were suppose to! THEN, the tell us we are receiving a free PlayStation because we purchased well over the amount required, so we drove down in a blizzard to pick it up 90 minutes away and when we got there they said NO! I'm an older gentleman. I purchased a bracelet for my husband, put some money down, paid it off, and a couple of weeks later bought a bracelet for myself. I've been in sales for many years. I worked for a Zales Outlet in St Augustine, FL. We would adjust watches, bracelets, and any other "customer service" issues as a courtesy. Zero charge. I went in the day after I purchased it to have them remove a link the salesperson asked for my phone number. I said, "Are you about to charge me to take a link out?" I was verbally upset, to where I was bewildered from the expectations, so i leave it to get adjusted and i get a voice mail from the Manager apparently saying thank you for leaving your bracelet to have adjusted. I've done this quite a bit & It's only going to be $5. I'll be returning it. I spoke with my husband and also shared this story with most of my friends I've bumped into within the last couple of days. It's true, one bad experience. I actually told more than five people. It's the principal. There's absolutely nothing you can do to change my mind. It was a mere "I wanted" at the time of purchase. I just don't need the bracelet. read more

Ok, so I came in here looking for the most awesome earrings that I could find at a good price. I love the look of round solitaire diamonds, but every time I buy a pair and spend a bunch of money... Something happens and I end up loosing one earring or both! So for this reason I decided never to spend a ton of money on earrings again. I came in and was looking at the smaller diamonds on sale when it caught my eyes! A round 2 ct two pair of sapphire diamond earrings that shine just like diamonds. The price...$50! I was so happy with this price that I had to buy them! The friendly sales associate quickly helped me bag them up and cleaned them for me. I put them in my ears and walked out with a nice shiny new pair of earrings that I won't feel bad about loosing! Awesome find! I will be back! read more

Went in on March 7th to pick up my item and low and behold not available. Not even the common decency to call and let me know that there is a delay. I have been shopping at Helzberg's for literally over 30 years. I have spent thousands upon thousands of dollars there. I have seen employees come and go. The last employee to go, David, was the best they ever had! He actually cared about customers. He was one of the only ones there that actually treated you like a person and not a commission. Dave worked with me at all hours of the day to get me the perfect ring. He gave me his personal number. We text, we Facebook message, and we talked. He went out of his way to find me the perfect diamond. One of my last purchases there was a very large diamond with a separate setting for this very large diamond to be placed in. I recently changed the setting out to a bigger one, (with the help of David, who again went way above and beyond) and was left with a setting that I now had no use for. I wanted to purchase an enhancement for another ring I had, and trade in the old setting for this. They had no enhancers in the store that would match my current ring, so one would have to be custom made. I received a call from an employee at the Mall of America store and she gave me the information about the custom made enhancer, but I was informed that they would not take my setting-which I purchased from them-in on the trade. I spoke with 2 separate managers, the one from Mall of America and Sherry from the Duluth store, as well as customer service, and nothing! They were any but customer service friendly and they do no care about customer at all. I am absolutely appalled at how they treated me, especially after being such a long standing customer. I have purchased at least 5 pair of earrings, many bracelets, necklaces, and of course many rings, with the last one being extremely expensive. I will never ever shop at Helzberg's again, and I will never recommend this place to anyone. When customer service told me what the manager said I said, I told them they they should really check their cameras because she was definitely not telling the truth. All my business will be done at Kay's. They are already working on my custom made enhancer. The only business Helzberg's will get from me is to repair any broken jewelry, as I did purchase the life time guarantee on most all of my jewelry! All over a simple setting that probably cost them next to nothing!! Please be careful, at Helzberg's you are a commission! At Kay's you are a person! Over 30 years flushed down the toilet! I also must say that after writing this review and then looking at all the other horrible reviews on Yelp, it surprises me that they are still in business! read more

The "Date Promised" on the receipt is nowhere near promised. I was promised my ring on June 10th, a Wednesday. I called that day and was told it would be there Sunday. So I called Sunday, and guess what...no ring! I was then told it would be there Monday or Tuesday, well guess what, still no ring and it is Wednesday, June 16th! I spent, what I think, a lot of money for this piece of jewelry and I am frustrated they cannot even give me a reliable date. read more
