I went in the next day and was fully expecting to be told the iPad needed to be left there overnight (there were several others customers queued) and that there were other fees in addition to the quote... but nope! Every estimate was accurate: my iPad was returned to me within 30-45 mins with a flawless screen and no hidden charges. Needless to say, my wi-fi was problematic, and Best Buy tried and tried to fix things to no avail. I was told to seek an I.T. company, I did my search, and Rod sold me over the phone on MVWFP. Jawaan and Jacob came to the house and hard wired most of my TV's using the coaxial cable that already existed. They also established various ports throughout the house so that the wireless wi-fi would work well everywhere. There was a slight problem that was fixed right away with a second (free) visit to the house. Several months after installation, the system is running perfectly. Rod and Jawaan are as good as it gets! Make the call to MVWFP, and your stress will disappear, at least with regard to wi-fi in your big old house!

All installed by me originally over the years, including hardwired gigabit Ethernet plus WiFi. Dead zones everywhere in the house and hardwired connections that weren't working. Rod responded quickly to my booking appointment on his website, and came in on the agreed date. As I knew, it was a mess. Took two days to straighten it all out including producing "heat maps" to show signal strength throughout every room in the house. it is actually quite difficult to find anyone who specializes in networking and WiFi. Most are electricians who do this as a side business and really don't have proper network training. As I determined, Rod has 20 years of corporate networking experience and clearly knows what he is doing. And frankly, my own lengthy experience in the computer industry allowed me to make that judgment pretty confidently after two days of many technical discussions. He knows what he's doing. I'm happy to make a referral to MVWFP to anyone who needs to sort out their WiFi and network challenges, residential or commercial. Very pleased. As is my wife who is not yelling at me any longer. Working with Angel and the crew was a fantastic experience. Completely exceeded my expectations. I am the guy who small businesses like SD&I dread. I research online reviews and try to test product to the point I become paralyzed with indecision. I talk myself into and out of multiple different options and designs. Throughout my process, Angel was patient with me, appropriately consultative, and helped me get to the outcome he knew I wanted even before I could see it. When my wife and I decided to finish our basement, we had an opportunity to wire the basement and main floor of our house with a clean and integrated look. As much as possible, we wanted all wires hidden behind walls and clunky equipment concealed. For the living room Angel recommended a 2.1 system with capability to drive the subtle and nuanced sound from a turntable as well as the booming explosions from a 4K action flick. In the basement, we went with a 5.1 system that also balanced musicality with the power for a dramatic viewing experience. As required, the wiring was concealed and tucked away for a supremely clean and tight appearance. Throughout the design, product selection, and installation process, Angel was there to guide things along. He consulted, recommended, and sold me various pieces, but integrated existing product I had on hand as well as the Anthem MRX 520 receiver I insisted upon getting brand new for the living room. Attention to detail was exceptional -- although my existing speakers required bi-wired connections, the new speakers I purchased did not, and Angel and his crew nailed the installation perfectly. Attention to detail was also reflected in the recommendations for speaker cable featuring great access and prices to very nice Audioquest speaker and HDMI cables. I'm so glad he convinced me to go with the JL Audio Gotham Subwoofer -- I knew it would shake the house during movies, but I didn't realize it had the subtlety to enhance a John Coltraine's, A Love Supreme on vinyl. Testing out the final product was the best part of the process. Angel and his crew spent a while with me dialing in the room correction software and receiver adjustment process. My musical taste is a bit eccentric and I think the guys from SD&I were a bit underwhelmed with the initial test tracks I selected. When I finally played Keep Your Name by Dirty Projectors, the house came down... This review is way overdue, but Angel, his wife, and the crew at SD&I deserve it. Whether you're completely new to the world of AV and just want a proper hookup for a new TV & speakers/soundbar or you're a moderate hobbyist like me, and want to geek out over sound or picture, Angel and SD&I will have you covered.
