Unfortunately, my most recent experience proved that this office clearly has no idea what is going on. I arrived 30 minutes early for my scheduled appointment at the Ormond Beach location, only to be told after checking in that my appointment was actually in Orange City. This was after three days of trying to reach someone to confirm the location -- and being told by their voicemail not to leave more than one message. No one ever called me back. When I finally reached someone after leaving the Ormond office, she said she would contact Orange City and call me right back. That call never came either. I drove to the second location on my own, only to be told I could not be seen and would need to make yet another appointment. By then, I had wasted half my day, two unnecessary trips, and my own gas because of their complete lack of communication and coordination. No patient should have to deal with this level of disorganization. My time has value, and I fully expect the doctor to pay the invoice I submitted for the time, mileage, and inconvenience caused by their repeated mistakes. This office needs serious internal fixes before more patients are affected. I really feel for the other patients that left poor reviews

I was admitted at 5pm on July 29th, Had a head MRI, and 2 CT's of my brain, in addition to several blood tests, etc.. Dr. Scott arrived at5pm on the 30th, 24hrs after being admitted. Did the same simple stroke physical exam that was already done 5 times, then said we need to get a head MRI. I replies I had already had an MRI of my head which sent me to the er. I also told him I had had 4 CT scans of my brain and neck. He said he would reveiw my file and be right back to me. 2 hours later, still nothing. Nurses could not find him or contact him by phone for over an hour. THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. The doctor had obviously not even reviewed my file after 24 hours in the ER for a serious stroke. IS THIS THE DOCTOR YOU WANT TO SEE??? I think not.

Before even cracking open my MRI's he had a good idea what was going on just by observing my walk into the room and posture. He is very good at explaining everything in extreme detail and encourages questions. I enjoy his very passive approach in treatment and he works with a slow methodical approach rather than jumping into surgery. The office staff are an absolute delight and knew me by first name within a few visits. They made scheduling easy, and gave reminder calls prior to the visits. Great people through and through, but the office could use some updating.
