They were arrogant and condescending, including the front line people (the receptionists). They treated the patients as if they themselves, being healthy, were better than the patients. They treated the patients as if they were lying. The patients are spending their time exercising There....WHY would they go there to waste their time and money, just to LIE??????????????? Nobody likes to waste their time nor throw their money away. These therapists need to respect the patients, help them, trust them and MOST importantly ....BELIEVE THEM!!!!! I was referred to the DeLand office specifically but when I called to make an appointment, I was told to schedule the appointment with the Orange City office since I live in Orange City. She didn't even ask why I wanted to come to the DeLand office or politely suggest the alternate office. She flat out told me I could only schedule through the office closest to me. I was floored! The lady I spoke with sounded like I was an absolute waste of her time by even trying to set up an appointment with her. I hung up angry but calmed down and figured maybe I was being overly sensitive and/or overreacting. I called the Orange City office and was not treated any better by the lady at the SECOND office either. I told her I was unable to find my health insurance card but that I could give her the name and phone number of the insurance company. She didn't want to hear it. She said I would have to find the insurance card before she would make an appointment. I hung up on her immediately because I was literally about to scream. She was rude, impatient and spoke to me in a very curt manner. She didn't ask any questions about the reason for my visit or offer to call the insurance company to get the policy information (like every other doctor I've EVER been to does when the insurance card isn't available). I have never ever been refused an appointment with any other doctor just because I don't have the insurance card. If I couldn't provide the name of the insurance company and their phone number, I would understand. But that wasn't my situation. Also, if she had asked WHY I wanted the appointment, she would have gotten all of my auto insurance claim info (which I had in my hand) since that is who will be paying for any treatment, anyway. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR OR ANY OF HIS OFFICES SINCE THEY ARE OBVIOUSLY THERE JUST FOR A PAYCHECK AND HAVE NO CONCERN FOR THEIR PATIENTS.
