Maheen was really professional and friendly and the henna turned out great! I didn't have a design…read morein mind; I just asked her for flowers and she FREEHANDED it with her henna pen. Who does that?! Anyway, it turned out super intricate and just really great overall. All my friends asked me where I got it done. It was my first time, but she made me feel really comfortable. The smell of henna is strange at first, but you'll get used to it. I followed her aftercare instructions, (which was to not peel anything off yourself, and to try not to expose it to water too much) and it ended up being this beautiful rich brown color. I had one done on my palm, which lasted for around four days, and one done on my forearm, which ended up lasting around a week. She takes designs too! My friend showed Maheen a picture from Pinterest and it turned out wonderful. She's just very flexible, really good at telling you exactly what she can and can't do, and just determined to get your henna the way you want it. The price was good. My friend had a design that spanned the top of her back, (5-7 in. in diameter) and it ended up costing her around ~$17, closer to 20? She told me she does weddings too, go figure. I would totally return for more henna. And for anyone out there who's never been, her work is DEFINITELY worth a try.
