I'm glad it was. Bradley greeted us and welcomed us to Mattress Firm. After discusssing the personal aspects of the right features our son was looking for, Bradley could make several recommendations. After that, it was time to talk cost. With Labor Day comig up, all the stores were offering 'special' discounts. Bradley was able to put to together a package deal that was good. However, this was our first stop! We told him that and he said with confidence that we should go and look at other stores. Then we realized the how good the deal was that Bradley offered. Two hours later we returned to the Mattress Firm and bought the best deal offered, at a great price for a great product. Bradley explained the invoice, and the delivery process that we purchased. They have a new bookshelf with a mist fireplace (it's a fireplace like light that shines on mist to make it look like you have a mini fireplace in your living room). Trust me, it's a lot cooler than I can describe. You just have to see it, okay? They have some beautiful pieces of furniture made from reclaimed wood. They have some awesome lamps. Did I mention the cookies? Who doesn't like cookies? While you're shopping, you can stop over to their little kitchen near the checkout, where you can sit down and have coffee, soda pop, or freshly baked sugar or chocolate chip or oatmeal raisin or toffee cookies. They have a standard 90 day return policy, but they also tout being able to just exchange the pillow for a new one. However, they keep a very limited number of pillows in store. They refused to bring in a new pillow for me to the store, so I could simply swap it out. I had to give up the pillow I wanted to exchange and they said it would take 7-10 days for a new pillow to arrive. What if you ordered a mattress from them and wanted to exchange it, however you've gotten rid of your old mattress? Would they literally make you bring the old mattress to the store before they would simply ordered a new one in? What if it took months for the new mattress to come in? I threw my old pillow out, so now I'm sleeping on a really old one until the new one comes in. Apparently, Sleep Number would rather inconvenience their customers instead of simply ordering them a replacement to swap. That's not customer service and I can't imagine ordering something that costs thousands from them, like a mattress. I'll be in the market for a new mattress soon and I'm definitely not getting it from Sleep Number.

However it was not explained it was without warranty. I sat on the couch and chair for about five minutes. Once home and after sitting for longer than 10 minutes you could feel the metal of the springs. Sitting in the chair to read a book was about an hour and the cushion edge and cover look like the couch is 5 years old. After speaking to them the policies of why they could not help in any way starting flowing quickly and easily. Basically the policy is "tough shit" you bought it and we have no responsibility for the crap they sold me. I respect a no refund/return policy. But not standing behind quality is unethical. I feel scammed and think management should be ashamed of themselves for not even being willing to talk thru some compromise. I won't shop there again and you should consider spending money there.

On Saturday March 9, 2019 my friend, service dog and I went into Furniture Closeout Center to purchase a new table. Shortly after arriving I was approached by an extremely rude employee (possibly owner) who asked to see proper documentation that my dog was in fact a "real" service dog. My dog had his vest on (which by The American's with Disabilities Act does not require) and was doing the job he was trained to do. He wasn't unruly in anyway but I was told that there would be people in his store that would have "a very big problem" that he was in the store. This man continued to question me and make me feel very uncomfortable. I was embarrassed and hurt by this man's lack of respect. If it was my money that was being spent then I would have spent it elsewhere. I will never recommend this business to anyone and will never step foot in it again.
