What else could you ask for? Emma, showed us around the store and was helpful and knowledgeable. There are racks and racks organized by style, size, and level of warmth. I will admit, some of their styles are somewhat dated. However, they do have some that are more modern and can certainly compete with any of the other winter coats out there on the market. What I like best about this place is that they truly stand by their product. Lifetime warranty anyone? Only Canada Goose will give you that. They're at a similar price point too. Nobis is made in China and their warranty is only for two years. Oh, another really cool thing about Kanuk is that you can choose your own fur. Fur costs extra, so don't be surprised. But it's like customizing your coat. If you would like synthetic, they have options too. The store/space is currently being renovated so I'm looking forward to the revamp! Some of the styles here for women's boots and hats are, in my opinion, way cheesy. They have nice quality goods but I would buy more here if the look was a little less nineties and a little more high quality Canadian and US made workwear-inspired wools and leathers. I was so excited to finally find both of the items I was looking for, especially when I found out the reasonably priced accessories were also on promo. I started wearing the hat every day in the coldest month of winter. So, when I dropped it in the metro station and couldn't find it again, I was really upset, especially because I knew I'd bought the last one in the store. But Cuir Mont Royal saved the day! I messaged them on Instagram, and, within an hour, they'd responded that they would do everything they could to get me the same hat. Just two days later, they reached out to tell me they'd found it for me, and that they were reserving it for whenever I could come into the store. They were so kind, helpful, and attentive! Truly the kind of customer service you only find in a local business like this one. On top of it all, their selection is unmatched. At the time of purchase, I was told returns would be "of course" accepted--no conditions mentioned, just a smile. Yet when I came back, they refused, pointing out "stains" I hadn't even noticed when buying it. I feel completely tricked and betrayed. Either they sold me a faulty dress or used this as an excuse to deny the return. At this point, it's not even about the money! It's the dishonesty and disrespect that's outrageous. For a store selling expensive "quality" items, this is unacceptable. I will never shop here again.
