This shop is for people who are serious about looking serious when seriously working out but…read moreLulumelon doesn't do my kind of customer service. It's a bit confronting buying Lycra at the best of times - I don't need testing on my knowledge of the stuff too... "Do you know about our polywafflewafflelycratastic pants?" asked the chirpy American. "No" was my startled reply. "I'm just browsing." She gave me wounded look like I'd just sat on her puppy, so I let her tell me about it. I made a selection then shuffled off to the changing rooms "How are you today" said indentikit chirpy American. "What's your name?" "Helen." I responded. She smiled briefly and widely as she wrote my name on a chalkboard outside my booth. I swear I could hear her scratch the phrase "Not a Zero" on the board as I entered. "Helllleeeennnn," came the cry but seconds later. She knew my name, I couldn't pretend I hadn't heard her. My muffled response should have confirmed I was trapped but I checked the door to stop her from coming in cupping my boobs into the top. As I left hot and flustered she asked 'How are they Helen, will you take them Helen?" I had nowhere to run and anyway I wasn't wearing the right outfit. I did actually buy a rather fetching running skirt that makes me appear to have a bottom - so top points for that but the service is way too upbeat and intense - it's verging on cultish! The mantras adorning the windows and the fact that they do free yoga on Sunday (9.30 to 10.30am) and Thursday 7.00am to 8.00am is all well and good but seriously it's trying a bit too hard.

Skip the sports superstores, Olympus is a jam-packed local sports store that stocks all the…read moreessential paraphernalia from soccer boots to squash eye shields to those funny little ball-holder things that you stick on your skirt to play tennis. You might need to climb over a pile or two of goods in order to find what you're looking for - or possibly over a young footballer and his mother trying on new boots - but sure as eggs, if it's sporting stuff, it'll be there somewhere. In season, Olympus stocks a good range of sports footwear, but the store's not big enough for them the keep it all on hand year-round, so if you need new boots be sure to pick them up towards the start of the season to get the pick of the range. Also an excellent supporter of local sporting clubs, and a handy central resource for picking up team uniforms and gear - though their selection of other sporting clothing is a bit hit and miss.

Initially really good customer service I was asked 2 or 3 times by different people if I needed help. To be honest I thought it was a bit much (why couldn't they check if I had been asked for help?!?!?!) Prices are bad overall... Kayano was $249.95 ... when I knew for fact Rebel had for only $179.95 . When I said this they were happy to negotiate to $189 ish and in the end I REALLY WANTED new shoes to train so bought. Summary: friendly local store but no one really knew much about cardio running on road and my natural gait and what I should be wearing for 7.5-10 km a week jog and 2 km sprint training on weekends. I was prepared to purchase multiple pairs of shoes but walked out with only one pair. I thought local smaller stores were meant to be knowledgeable and offer relevant advice, not just say the kayano was the best and try and get $250 out of me! I might be back, I might not. I wont go out of my way to go here..... to paint a wider picture however I know if Rebel don't have my size they will willingly match prices which is a huge comfort as a back up. good store to have in back up as they have been around for atleast 7 years and is in a fairly good location except hard to park. 3.5 stars!

Saw Nick Taylor at the Bondi Store still awaiting the email he promised me for a faulty pair of shorts 4 weeks ago. Found the receipt in his system and hasn't reached out. Get a third degree from his Assistant store manager when I went back into store 3 weeks later and refused to do anything else for me. I have spent almost $2000 between the 3 Sydney stores found the receipt for the $50 shorts and wanted a replacement seeing they were faulty. Contacted Xanna apparently business operations manager almost a week ago and they're both MIA. Not sure what you have to do to get any customer service but Nike Australia sure knows how to drop the ball with Nike service, customer satisfaction and branding established worldwide. I won't be going back into a Nike Store in Australia it's really tarnished the experience for me.

Despite the lack of traffic, the store is well staffed and they are really nice & knowledgeable about the products. (It helps especially you are not sure what you want) I felt really bad cause my intention was merely to find my size so I could buy it online. But having said that.... AUD$220 for a pair of running shoes? I'll get it on the Nike USA website for half the price, thank you :)
