Both times I called this place to get a quote I felt like I was a burden to the person I was speaking to. I needed a fence repair and the person I spoke to was very short and rude. Then I called again to see if they do a particular fence. She suggested I email her pictures, which I did. Lo and behold, many days later, I get a short email saying they don't do that style fence. So, naturally, I ask for a recommendation. All I got back was "try another fence company". No kidding. Didn't even offer a suggestion for another company. Would not recommend this place to anyone if they need a fence just because of this experience. read more

I'm sure Henry's Fence will do a great job at building the dog enclosure I hired them to build at our new home....when they eventually get around to building it. Despite agreeing to build it on or about January 15th, we were told by Milly that it will not be built until a week and a half to two weeks later. Our two American Bulldogs will have to remain at our old house until the enclosure is built. This delay has caused both additional cost and inconvenience. I wish we were told of the uncertainty of the start and completion date in advance. When I asked Milly what the reason was for the delay, she cited the holidays, the rain and a truck breakdown as the reasons. We knew the holidays were upon us when we agreed to the timeline. The weather is always an issue in the building trades and trucks do occasionally break down. Why, however, did I have to be the one to contact Henry's Fence to learn of the delay? I paid the advanced deposit they requested without objection upon request. I demonstrated good faith and proper business acumen from the start. At the very least, shouldn't I have been notified of any delays as soon as they knew the date of commencement could not be met? In light of the additional cost I've incurred and inconvenience it has caused, shouldn't I have extended the professional courtesy of being advised that the work would not be done on time? As I said at the outset, I'm sure Henry's Fence will do a great job. Hopefully, they'll be able to start sooner than later. I'll revise my quality rating once the work is done. Stay tuned. read more

Henry's Fence came out on 5/14/18, to replace an old Hurricane Andrew wood fence and extend it around to the front of our townhouse. So, first let me begin by saying they did a "MARVELOUS JOB"! And we could not be any happier! This was not an unusually hard job, but the permitting process due to the age of the townhouse community made it a royal "Pain"... and dragged it on for months. Millie and Henry both were very helpful, understanding, and patient with helping us to ensure we got the design layout that would make us happy. Even a few weeks after the job was completed Henry himself came out to install a latch and take care of a few other minor things for us. We found them throughout the several months of getting our project completed to be very friendly and accommodating. Henry worked with our community to make sure that each house was done perfectly. Both Milly and Henry are so easy to work with. I do not normally write reviews but I have to about this. I was quoted by Henry's team over three weeks ago for a wood fence job. I agreed to the terms and decided to go with them. When I asked when they would install the fence they stated the week of April 4th. After emailing a few times with no response I finally called on Thursday April 7th and they told me they would have to do it towards the end of the April 11th week. I was frustrated but I do understand things come up. I emailed Tuesday April 12th about which day they thought they were coming and again no answer. So I called and asked on Thursday April 14th and she stated she would talk to Henry and get back to me. Today is Friday. I have been waiting with LIES for over two weeks. I do not believe this company is honest. I am waiting on another installation for my backyard that has to wait for the fence to be installed. I obviously don't recommend them and there are over 20 fence companies on here you can use before calling these people. The bbb is next these people should not be doing this to customers. read more
