Over the years an element of friendship became a pleasant, positive part of the business relationship. I highly recommend them as agents for renting and selling properties.

The Bristol Residential Letting Co

Bristol Res Lets, as they could be abbreviated, are one of the larger lettings agent in Bristol,…read moreoperating mostly in the affluent north Bristol areas of Clifton, Cotham, Redland etc. They run a pretty large scale operation, and you're likely to see some of their cars milling around the roads when you've been here long enough (or care to look out for those type of things). Their staff are all pretty friendly, and work hard to ensure viewings are useful, and should it get to the next stage, that the official documentation goes ahead smoothly. Their offices are situated near the bottom of Whiteladies Road, in a big glass fronted premises that holds the ads of their available places. It's quite a swanky looking office, so they've clearly made efforts to look presentable, which isn't the case for some other lettings agents in the city. If you go down the road of Lettings Agents, fees are inevitable, but theirs are quite reasonable compared to market. They have a number of the high quality type places you'd expect to find in the expensive areas in which they operate, so if you have a large budget you'd do worse than giving them a go.

I've always thought estate agency was a bit of a confidence trick (how else do they get away with such exorbitant prices?) and they've done their best to keep up their charade here. Right, now I'm finished with that slightly bitter description of what they look like I should give an assessment of the service they deliver. First I should highlight that they're an lettings agent, rather than sales. Things are done on time and phones are answered, which is more than a lot of the colleagues can manage. They do charge a lot, but then so does everyone else so I shouldn't hold that against them. Another plus is that they actually manage to say a few words when they're showing you around the place, again something a lot of other estate agents don't manage. Bristol Residential Letterings do a bad job well, if that makes sense.

I rented my first Shoreditch flat through this relatively small but efficient and knowledgeable real estate agency and would definitely use Peach again. The staff have generally either lived in the area or do so at present and are particularly knowledgeable about Shoreditch's Victorian built Boundary Estate where many local residents rent one and two bed properties. All in all a charming little real estate agency that goes some way to dispelling the myth that all real estate agents are cowboys.

Before we engaged Sam, we had sought out many other realtors in the area - even some of the big national brands. Unfortunately, the majority of them were unprofessional & tardy and there were some even to point of non responsiveness and or over commitments that simply were not attainable. From the time we first engaged Sam right until to the point when we closed the sale of the house, Sam exemplified expertise and professionalism to the core. The entire selling process went so smoothly despite Sam being in Maidenhead in the UK, and my wife and I were between California and Dubai. All our meetings were professional and highly productive albeit they being virtual. Sam was extremely courteous, highly responsive and very knowledgeable and advised us every step of the way. Despite Sam having to be away for a week, all matters pertaining to the sale was handled by another colleague without any disruption to the selling process. Sam's professional advise on the indicative selling price, to his recommendations for re painting our house to fixing the electrical fixtures all led to a quick sale of our property at our expected selling price. We sold the house within less than a month of open viewings and closed the transaction within 2 months. The amazing this was this was all accomplished in an era where house prices were dropping and interest rates skyrocketing. Therefore it gives me great pleasure in recommending Sam Tomlinson and the good folks at Braxton for any real estate services in Maidenhead. Braxtons and Sam has my utmost confidence!
