Her Asphalt LLC on their website states they only service the Ipswich area. I live in the Berkshires, which is as far west in MA and borders on NY state. I was in my front yard when I truck pulled up to my yard. Peter Lavalle got out and said my driveway was in bad shape. I knew that. He said he had just got done doing a job in the area and had some left over asphalt. I asked if it was enough to do mine. He said no. I said I don't half my driveway done. He said he could get more. $4500.00 for the job. Nobody could plow because of the condition of it. I said ok. Then the older brother comes along after they started. He said no, its going to cost more, we had to get more asphalt, I said no, that is not what I was quoted. Betsy the owner was there, she never looked at me, never said a word. They messed up my driveway so bad. They are scammers. 1 it cost me more. 2 they left such a bump at the end of the driveway I still can't get plowed. 3 Betsy flattened the asphalt with her feet. Both sides of the driveway are so uneven. There was a roller machine to flatten the asphalt at the end of my street that was theirs and they never bothered to use it. Betsy must have thought her feet were good enough. How much pressure can your feet use compared to a roller? Then one of the workers spraying something on the edges of the driveway. They also left the grass that they dug out on the sides of the driveway to put the uneven sides of the asphalt. They just threw it on my grass and never picked it up. They came to Pittsfield just to scam people out of money. I hope they can all sleep at night, especially when they only service the IPSWICH AREA. I hope they enjoyed Pittsfield because they might be seeing it again soon!!!!!!! read more
