Recently his doctors recommended he start medical marijuana, and it has been a huge help to him. As in, just short of transformative. It's not a fix-all, but it has given him enough of an improvement to come off some medications with scary side effects, and overall he's in a better place. I will also say the cannabis you get in the dispensaries is not what has been available illegally. The quality is higher, more consistent, and very highly engineered, with different combinations of THC and CBD for different issues, along with different formulations. I am impressed. Unfortunately, the combination that has been working best for the NMT also works really well for lots of other people, so it's in super high demand. This means I basically stalk the different dispensaries, looking for it on their 'menus'. This is how I came to be at Cure as they opened up one morning. This is controlled access, as expected, with a sleek, modern feel. I was greeted warmly, my card taken, and pretty quickly headed back to the secure dispensary area. One of their employees, super nice and also knowledgable, helped me with the strain I was looking for and also another that might work about as well (it does, not 1:1 match, but it will do when the preferred strain isn't available). The place is clean, bright, the staff is approachable and friendly and knowledgable. Cash Only - all the dispensaries are cash only, if you didn't know that. Why? For the same reason you can't use your AMEX to buy from the street - cannabis is still (for now) illegal at the federal level, and banks follow that set of laws. They have an ATM on site, there's also a Bank of America branch on the same block and a Bryn Mawr Trust branch right across the street, so you have options to possibly avoid fees. Of course I'm going again, when the menu shows his best-working strain, but I'd also go because it's a pleasant experience to be there.

The lady with the glasses and multi-colored pony tail is gruff, unfriendly and basically insulting. Not a good way to treat customers. Just a level of mean arrogance that isn't typical in this Industry. Don't forget, I am a patient with issues that you are unaware of. To be so aggressive to a patient is messed up and unappreciated. Time for your boss to check you. And it's just the one lady. Everyone is else is fine. She knows who she is.

During my visit, everything seemed completely fine- we had a consultation, and I left assuming that my certification would be easily renewed. It has now been over a month since my follow-up appointment and I am still not registered with the state of PA. I've called Dr. Roman's office multiple times, but their phone system has been down for weeks and you cannot speak to a human being on the phone. Since I'm a chronic pain/neuropathy patient who is disabled, and now without the medicine I depend on to control my symptoms, it's difficult to get to the office - especially being located in an area like Old City which has limited parking and requires lots of walking... Not ideal for disabled patients! I've emailed both the practice and Dr. Roman directly, facebook messaged/posted, and tweeted- basically every form of outreach to get someone to help me or at least give me an answer as to why this is happening, and I've received nothing but radio silence! Dr. Roman's office had no problem taking my money and sending me on my way, then ignoring every attempt I made to contact them. If MMJ is a major component of your treatment plan, avoid this place like the plague! They will leave you hanging with no access to your medicine and no concern for your well-being.

I've gotten some good product here on sale. If you're a fan of Modern flower, this is the place for you. It's discounted up to 40% at times. My only issue is that their prices are higher than average to begin with. However often other discounts are 20 - 30 % off the entire store. They do offer a 50% off for first time patients, 35% off your second order & 40% off your third. Also after your yearly renewal you can get $50 off a purchase of $150 or more. Their ground flower unfortunately is excluded from all discounts, although I recently saw low THC R.O ground on sale. While the employees are friendly & helpful, the security guard at the door is aloof at best. I stopped greeting her as she never acknowledges me nor makes eye contact. Last time I was there she seemed annoyed that she had to get up and stop eating her chips to let me in the door. At this point, I just breeze right by her and check in at the desk.

I am absolutely floored by the knowledge these members have when it comes to strains, doses, uses, etc. I am now completely off of my migraine medicines and I micro-dose THC:CBD for pain. Within 30 minutes, I start to feel like myself again. It is as simple as going in and asking to speak with someone. You could even call ahead if you wanted to. Just explain symptoms, what you're looking for vs. what you're not looking for. Some people like head highs, some don't. There's literally something for everyone.
