Walked in yesterday to ask about the price for accupressure. The lady at the counter told me that…read moreit would be 55 GBP and to fill out a form. I filled out the form and the doctor saw me right away. He did a 3-5 minute assessment of my shoulder issue and then had me lay on the table and proceeded to do acupuncture, which is not what I came in for. I decided to let it go and he put a bunch of needles in my shoulder and neck. Then had me roll over and did the same to the front. I will say that I my frozen shoulder did feel 50% better BUT he kept mentioning that he recommended me to take herbs to help for 5 weeks at 70 GBP per week. I declined. Then when I went to leave another person was at the counter with a bunch of herbs already bagged up told me the same that the doctor recommended the herbs for 5 weeks. I said no, and he said that there is a discount so the 5 weeks would cost 50 GBP per (250 GBP) I declined and as I went to leave he told me that the 55 GBP was for the consultation and that the acupuncture was 90 GBP. In the past month I've had acupuncture done in New York City, Los Angeles, and San Francisco . This was more expensive than ANY of these cities. I think that the doctor was good, but the practices of the office leaves much to be desired. None of the other acupuncture places that I went to ever suggested herbs for the muscles in my shoulder. One sold me a muscle balm, which makes more sense. Beware

But not solely, it also has the capacity to reinforce optimal function by coaxing the kidney to perform better by activicating the circulation of blood. The principle of Chinese medicine is to balance Yin and Yand within the human body. Harmony of this union means energetic body with a healthy mind, while disharmony leads to disorder and illnesses. It's my first time having a Chinese herbal and acupuncture treatment. I would say it's all natural…read moreand I understand my body more! Though there's one thing I dislike is the bitter taste of the herbs, I can stand it with some dried fruits after that. I am 22 and have been having menstrual disorder since 15 to 16. My period comes irregularly (the longest has been 4 months!) and I start to have more and more pimples on my face. I was recommended to visit Dr. Lui by my aunt. She had 5 months treatment there after 3 times failure of IVF and I am more than happy to have a baby niece! She is 1 yr old now! My aunt got pregnant naturally !!! With this strong confidence in Dr Lui, I am hoping I will have a good result too. I start taking the herbs (daily) and acupuncture ( twice a week) and measure my temperature daily after I get up ( It's my first time to hear that but Dr Lui says it's like the indicator to review my menstrual cycle). After 2 months, I have less pimples that is the thing I am most concern about. And now I have a natural and regular menstrual cycle. Dr Lui says it's all because my eggs are not strong enough to come out from teh overies. But now, everything is fine now!! The only thing I have to fight now is to get rid of the scars of pimples on my face. I would say Dr Lui is nice and patient. He really asks every details as to get the best results. The clinic is a bit small but it is comfy and fragrant. I would recommend to every girl or woman who have menstrual disorder or want to have a baby naturally. Thank you, Dr Lui!!

He came highly recommended and I was impressed right away with how he explained his philosophy on treating infertility with acupuncture. He put me at ease by giving me practical advice and by explaining why and how he would use each acupuncture point. He also addressed diet and herbs, which were important to me. I left my first treatment feeling encouraged, optimistic, and more cared for than I had with previous practitioners. I started seeing him weekly and was amazed when only two months later I was able to shift my care from infertility treatment to maternity treatment! I continued to see him for the first 12 weeks of pregnancy, which was extremely helpful both for sustaining the pregnancy and for reducing nausea. I would strongly encourage anyone in a similar situation to seek Dr Lui's help!

She recognised that I had quite a lot of pain in my shoulders and neck, and worked hard at them to decrease the pressure I was feeling. I've never had a massage that was so "medical," if that makes sense -- she asked numerous questions, and really seemed to care about my wellbeing. I wasn't sure about acupuncture at first, and told her I only wanted a massage, but she put a few needles in my back at the end of my hour-long session, and I found it really calming. I actually ended up committing to five more acupuncture sessions, which she recommended to treat my back. The second appointment I had with her, she actually arranged for a chiropractor friend, Andre, to work on me -- I'd not had chiro before, but I felt so much better after walking out of there! It was a bit challenging as I had to work on my breathing, but I've found myself standing a lot straighter since being stretched out. I'd definitely recommend seeing Chi if you have any aches and pains -- while a standard massage is relaxing, her technique and acupuncture is incredible. Just try and ignore that you're tucked away in a box-like room above a tanning salon, and you'll feel so relaxed and better for it. The location is amazing, however -- really close to Selfridges.
