They have directed me to things that helped my pain, and have actually called me when my favorite strain has come in. My partner and I are regulars at this location. We drive from Wilsonville to Salem just to shop at this location. We bought 5 packs of in-house joints. Unfortunately they were packed tightly that we can't even smoke them. I called and asked for a manager. No manager on duty. She told me to call tomorrow 11/20 at 2pm to speak with a manager. As I was asking for the managers name she hung up on me. I asked several time so I know she heard me. I called back and it rang for a while until someone else picked up the call. I asked for the lady name (who took my call the first time) and he said he couldn't give me the name. This happened today 11/19 call was made at 6:14pm. Clean shop with central location on Lancaster Drive. You won't feel cramped or weird coming to this store! Large pre-security seating area for guests to sit and wait while others go past security into the purchase area to make proper bud purchasing decisions. Friendly staff, especially the owners (Jared and Brandon) who are helpful with assisting you in proper flower selection based on your preferred buzz and/or budget. They typically have abundant selection of flower for both medical and recreational markets at three price points: bottom shelf, mid-shelf and platinum. Sadly they have a paucity of quality edible/ tincture options, hopefully that'll get better once the recreational market is opened up to those forms. First time in a cannabis store? No sweat. If you are 21 and over, just walk in, show your ID, they enter you into their system as a customer and buzz (no pun intended) you back to the shopping area where you stand in either one of two lines- Medical or Recreational (the bud's the same, just no edibles, tinctures, wax or oils on the Rec side- for now). They also have T-shirts for sale. Don't be shy about telling your bud tender the type of high you prefer and what their recommendations are. Interact with them, they want to help and make you feel comfortable. And most importantly, don't forget to tip your budtender just as you would a bartender. Why not five stars? Went in as a first-timer, feeling awkward and unsure. Everyone there was very friendly, the establishment is clean and modern. Dane, the clerk, was kind, patient and helpful. He referred me to www.leafly.com, but I wish they had a menu with detailed descriptions or a flyer on site. They have a electronic billboard menu with abbreviations and percentages on it, but as a newbie I found that intimidating and confusing. I wish they had a menu that was more like a wine menu. I bought tea that was delicious, but expensive: $25 for four cups of tea (it takes two cups to get the effect). The package said, 25% THC and negligible CBD, but I wouldn't say that it had a strong effect, even though I brewed it extra-long and added cream, like it suggested. I'll go for an edible or vaporizer, next time. Thanks to Dane, I'm excited to try all the alternatives to smoking. read more

The employees are the most standout aspect of this shop. From check in to check out, everyone who works there excels at customer service and makes you feel welcome. They know their products and business, and they offer educated advice on the right strain for your needs. As far as the aesthetics go, sure, when the store first opened, it was blah inside. Just very 'functional' looking. (But, do we really go to the weed store to be razzle dazzled by the decor?) Since then, I've noticed at least one interior facelift, and I know they are currently expanding floor space and upgrading again. One of the owners, Brandon, said they're getting ready for the launch of legal edibles on 6/2, and that they are expanding their product line in general. I can't wait to see it. By the way, the owners are extraordinarily cool. The way the work looks like it's going, the expanded store will be roomy, but not overwhelming in size. So newbies won't feel out of place. But, this place is for everyone. Seriously, check out the store. Easy to get to on Lancaster in Salem. I know this reads like a sterile, fake review, but I'm a writer so please look past it.
