Wow DO NOT take your car or truck to herbers for any repairs. After accident my 2023 gmc 1500 was dropped off on November 4. After the damage estimate herbers told me it would be approximately 3 weeks until my truck would be complete. So I figured I would have my truck back in a month. So today is day 77 and I still don't have my truck yet. I'm not impressed. Communication from herbers has been horrible as they never communicated with me to give me any updates on the completion date. Whenever I contacted them for an update they told me with attitude that they were waiting for parts. A 2023 gmc 1500 is a common truck and should not take 11 weeks to get parts and complete repair. My insurance company contacted me today and told me repairs should be completed tomorrow. Now that I've waited 11weeks to get my truck back I'm really worried about the quality of the work because they don't seem to care aboit their customers as long as their insurance repair dollars keep rolling in. If your insurance company tells you to take your truck to herbers don't listen to them and find your own body shop to go to and hopefully you won't have to wait almost 1/4 of a year to get your truck repaired. read more

I took my vehicle to Herbers South side to repair . I took three weeks to get the parts in which I can appreciate but the tech lost my lock nut for the wheels and they decided to just put a normal nut without telling me that's what they had done. Plus, they did not put back all the trunk stuff leaving a complete mess. Never again will I have Herbers repair my vehicle. read more

Best place to get the car repaired. The damage was on the back end of my car. They replaced the trunk and repainted the lower part under the trunk. It looks like nothing had happened to the car. They did awesome job. It's best place to get the repair done. I chose herbers at 75th street after googling and viewing the reviews about it. No one else can do the work they did. I needed to get some work done and went with Herbers east Edmonton location and got it back with my lights changed from auto to stationary. My battery completely dead and have since needed to get multiple boosts. Before it going in I had nothing wrong with the battery. Since going in it was given back completely dead. Despite charging it and letting it run I have had to get boasted again. It was that dead. Would not recommend. read more

Six months ago, our car was hit in a parking lot. It was in for service and when it was picked into. You could clearly see that a truck had backed into it leaving a trailer hitch imprint in the front bumper. I had to find an auto-body repair shop to fix it properly (for lease requirements and trade-in value). After much searching, we settled on Herbers on 75th St. When I booked the initial check, they were friendly and informative. When I arrived for the initial appointment, the staff started at the scheduled time and kept within the quoted time. They were great about setting up the next visit and setting expectations for the parts they needed to order. When I arrived for the actual repair, I was utilizing their shuttle service as my insurance (surprisingly) did not cover a rental car. Herbers said they could get the work done that day while I was at work, so I was happy to use the shuttle. I was surprised that after mentioning several times that I would need their shuttle, that their driver was off the day I came in. Two of the regular staff dropped me off and picked me up, so no big deal (my work is flexible in these situations). When we picked up our car, we walked around and it looked like nothing had ever happened. Bonus - They detailed the car, inside and out! This was great. I loved their sense of humor, the team atmosphere, and the whole experience (considering the circumstances) was great. I would go back, though I really hope I won't have to. My insurance company said to go to Herbers and the work they did was absolutely amazing and beyond top notch I smashed up the complete right side of my truck by hitting a concrete barrier and my truck looks better then new and Derek kept me up dated about the progress of my truck it did take a few days longer then what they said because they have to wait to get some parts but I would recommend them all the time. My truck looks so nice now you can't tell it was even in a accident. Great service. Great people. If I ever need body work I am going back to them Thank you Herbers read more

Worst car experience of my life!! Took my car into east location of Herbers last year for front end damage after being referred by my insurance company. When work was completed I picked up the car and half an hour later had to take it back as the power steering stopped working!! They said the fluid was just low & sent me on my way. 2 weeks later no power steering again, took car back. I had to take my car in 3 different times, after I left the 3rd time drove off the lot & the check engine light came on. Every time I went into Herbers I drove off with another problem. Now a year later I have to get my alternator replaced (due to power steering fluid leaking on it) & a new power steering pump put in. Obviously not heading to Herbers for ANY issues ever again. Oh and when I called to ask about parts warranty, I was told their supplier didn't offer a warranty so they couldn't do anything for me. read more

these guys are fraud, do not take your vehicle there for. i got in an accident, my insurance company told me to go to these guys and get an estimate, they gave me an estimate for repair on my front end, and a day later they sent my insurance company a revise copy of the estimate for $2000 less then what they originally estimated, all because i didn't want them doing the repair on my vehicle. so if they are cheating on with the insurance company imagine, what kind of repair work they do on your vehicle. they probably replaced all your part with some used one and tell you and your insurance they are replacing with brand new part. read more

Herbers repaired my Lincoln MKX 2 years ago after a significant front end collision. My insurer paid them over $9000. I recently brought my vehicle to my Lincoln dealer as my air conditioning wasn't working. They determined that the Herbers repair was shoddy and contributed to some coolant lines failing over the long term. They had also used zip ties to hold parts together! As a result Lincoln could not repair the A/c under warranty. I spoke to Herbers Manager who assured me that he would "take care of it". After several days of avoiding my dealer I had to call the Herbers Manager who now took the position that they would not take responsibility as the poor workmanship was now repaired and my Dealer could no longer prove that it was improperly done. I was forced to go back to my insurer and open a new claim. They sent an adjuster who verified by looking at the old parts that they did indeed fail as the result of Herbers poor work. They agreed to cover the claim. So Herbers does shoddy work and will no stand behind their work nor their verbal commitment to make things right. No integrity here. I would avoid them entirely. read more
