The large day spa in town was pricier than what I wanted to pay for a no-polish manicure, so I took a chance on Fusion. I was so pleased with the result! Fusion is a hair salon that also does waxing and nail services. The two owners (twins) are both great gals, very down to earth, friendly, and funky. They gave me some advice on the next towns I had to visit along the way, as well as tips on where to eat in Swift Current. As for the manicure, she did a great job. Really took her time and did my nails up exactly as I requested. Her price was much better than the large day spa in town. In fact I was so pleased with the manicure, and the service, that I decided to get some waxing done as well. Their waxing room was clean and comfortable, and they give you these little disposable undies to wear which you can adjust to the areas you want waxed. She was as gentle as can be in such a situation, and sympathetic to my discomfort. After pulling off the wax strips she would immediately press on my skin, which eased the pain somewhat. It's those kind of little details that really made this place stand out. Coming from a big city I wasn't sure what to expect in Swift Current, but I was very pleased with Fusion and recommend it highly!

Well I tried to go there but when I arrived I was told my appointment was actually at 2:00 pm, not…read more2:30, even though I had been told 2:30 a few days ago. (Backstory- the day I booked the appointment the woman on the phone tried to tell me the appointment was at 3:00 pm, but when I asked again she corrected herself that it was indeed at 2:30 pm). So they don't seem to be the most organized folks.
