Biceps has 1 day, 1 week, 2 week and monthly memberships. The 2 week membership was €40, which is great considering it's sometimes hard to find a gym on vacation. The owner was there each morning, and spoke English (and probably several other languages.) He is very kind! There is a non gendered bathroom, no showers, no lockers. Gym has 1 of everything you need, and since it was barely busy, I never had to wait for a price of equipment. Heads up - it's closed on Sunday's, and Saturday has limited hours. It also closes for siesta. I will definitely come back when I am in Maspalomas next.

Certain times were less than others (early morning or afternoon), so I tended to go then. Staff were very kind and relaxed. Has all the equipment you need.

Other years (we visit…read morePlaya for over 10 years now) we went to a couple of other gyms in the neighborhood, most of them are depressingly bad, and or overrated. Joe's opened in june 2014 so all interior and equipment is spanking new! The staff is friendly and helpfull. Towel service and a locker are included in the price. They also have a range of protein shakes, bars, etc.... Next year we go back for sure...

This is a brand new gym in Maspalomas right near the Yumbo!…read more We were staying accross the street at the HL Miraflor, and I got a week pass. I came everyday! The staff were very kind and spoke a bit of English. For the week pass, they put me on a list and everyday I came in, just gave my name, they gave me a towel, and let me in. The gym has everything you need - including two Olympic lifting pads, and hefty squat racks on each pad. They also have an enclosed studio perfect for yoga , and a second enclosed boxing studio. The change rooms are great too. They also have a sauna in the men's (and presumably women's too).
