We've been at Cherry Hills Christian School for 8 years, and I couldn't be more grateful. The staff truly lives out the mission of the school by being solid Christian examples to the students. They always take the time to invest in my kids' faith walk, pray with them, guide and coach them, and love them! They truly are like family, and they truly reflect Jesus. The curriculum is robust- my kids are challenged yet they're not buried in hours of homework, which I very much appreciate. The class sizes are always small (which is rare these days!) with plenty of support staff to pour into the students as well. We've loved all the extra-curricular activities from sports to music to theater. There are always new options available, and it's been really fun and fulfilling for us. Lastly, the community is wonderful. The school does a great job creating and promoting a really sweet culture. There are so many events and opportunities to get to be a part of the community. We've met incredible friends, kids and adults alike, that have become second families. I love this place. Look no further for a Christian Education for your kids! read more

I went here in middle school and was horrifically bullied, I've had social anxiety ever since and made me realize there might be no hope for this generation, nobody thinks what it's like to be the other guy! My children are going into 6th and 7th grades and have been back at CHC 3 years now. They both attended preschool at CHC and then were at Lone Tree Elementary for a few years. CHC has been a great environment for both of them - I've seen growth academically, socially, and in faith. They have great friend groups that feel genuine and healthy. It's an okay school, I went there and just graduated, some of the teachers are 100% awesome but there are some who really just don't care. Especially with my dyslexia some cared more than the world like the Kerrs and my learning specialists but others especially the directors of the school care more about the looks of the school that the kids, I like it and it was a okay experience but the drama was a lot and they must think the more homework you give is the better your doing against other schools read more

I enrolled my children here and it was light night and day my daughter was in preK program and my son was in the upper school 7th grade The lower school was amazing I loved Mrs Martella and all the parents I meet in the lower school The upper school was awful there are some great teachers and other staff here but the head of the school and upper school administration is a joke this was far from a Christian school there was no empathy , compassion, love , or any Christian values at all shown to my son he was picked on due to his skin color I have NEVER IN LIFE EXPERIENCE ANYTHING LIKE THIS my son left this school scarred how can you make racial jokes and show up to school dance call a kid a Nigger but it was a accident ask a kid how much can I pay you to get a Nigger pass while in chapel there is much more but out of all of this none of these kids where made to apologize or parents was called to inform them of there child action there was one child who I reached out to there parent and my son received a apology just 1 child my frustration with this school was not understood there are some great people at this school but the BAD ONES STOOD OUT THE MOST read more

This should not be called a Christian School as there is no Christ in the Principal or the kids that bullied my son. My son pleaded for help from his teacher then the Principal whom never addressed the problem. The bullies family was the Principals friends, therefore she ignored my son. My sweet boy that loved God, friends and school, no longer had the desire to go to school or Church for that matter. I didn't understand what was happening until he told me that he was being severely bullied and sandwiched and hit at school. There were many more problems and we finally left this Christian Fundamentalists school. He is now thriving in an amazing public school in Highlands Ranch where he is loved and excelling with such loving and caring teachers, kids and has the most caring and kind principal ever! Be aware and know you are throwing huge amounts in tuition for the worst school ever!!!!! I wish I didn't overlook the bad reviews when we decided to go here. Cherry Hills Demonic School would be a better fitting name. I saved my children by pulling both of them out and never looked back! read more

I attended this school for 7th and 8th grade, and my experience not only left me with a big whole in my education, but with low self worth, trauma, and deep resentment for the church. They claim to foster a safe environment for any kid, but silenced me and countless others for speaking up about bullying and sexual harassment. I was ostracized and bullied by teachers as well as students. Cherry Hills is a good school if you are either a boy, or a silent girl. They do not encourage kids to form opinions and explore their relationship with God. Their goal is to make money and indoctrinate kids to fit with certain personal beliefs that have nothing to do with christianity themselves. They also teach out of ignorance and lead with political views instead of general education. For example: in my 8th grade history class, to learn about the slave trade, my teacher, Mr. Bob Brown, orchestrated an interactive simulation in which we all received character cards to act out what slavery was like. Some kids were slaves and others slave masters. The cards themselves were blatantly racist, mine being "big Mama" a house slave. As the class played out, i heard kids joking and shouting in mocking tones, things like "I can't wait to whip you" or "I like being a slave owner". To make matters worse, Mr. Brown cut up little pieces of paper and had all the "slaves" pick them up for the remainder of the period. I was horrified as the whole situation, but the most vile part was that at the end, we had a class discussion in which my teacher asked us to identify the good outcomes of the slave trade. This is just one of many examples of the toxic environment of Cherry Hills, and I urge you to think twice about putting your child in a place that spews hate speech in the name of God. read more

Cherry Hills Christian is a fantastic school. Our oldest daughter started in Preschool and is now in high school thriving. The education she received, combined with the Christ-centered focus, has equipped her to excel. She is confident in who she is as a young woman. We have another few years at CHC with our youngest; she is so happy. She loves that she is challenged In her classes, especially Math. I don't believe she would receive this level of individually focused attention any place else. The focus on each student is exceptional. Our sons attended and graduated from Cherry Hills Christian Elementary and Middle School. We are FOREVER grateful for the foundation and skills that they learned. Our sons went on to high school with a firm foundation in Christ and an excellent work ethic. They were appropriately challenged academically and grew so much in knowledge and skills. They were both placed in high school honors classes and were able to graduate from college in less than 4 years! (Definitely paid back the tuition cost tenfold!) That was huge, however, the most important piece for our boys was the service HEART of the school. Our boys experienced serving in many local, national and international ministries. Teachers and Leadership are Christ followers and they invested in the hearts, minds, and souls of my kids....caring that they were thriving and finding success in faith and academics. Looking back at the deep roots that were developed in these years they have been well prepared for high school. This school has smaller classes than the local public and charter schools but offers the extra curricular opportunities that smaller schools would not be able to offer your kids in arts and athletics. Cherry Hills Christian is an amazing school. We have had nothing but wonderful experiences. I have an older son that attended pre school there and a younger son who is currently in their toddler program. We have loved every single teacher they have had. Ourselves and our kids have felt important and loved. The teachers genuinely care about every single kid and treat them all as if they are their own. I like that it is a curriculum based program- therefore the kids are learning a great deal while they play and interact with other kids. When my older son left for kindergarten I felt he was very well prepared and knew he would succeed because of the education he got at CHC.
