This is a very interesting neighborhood/tour of old houses in the historic district. We went on Memorial Day and nothing was open, but you can get tours of some of the houses. I think that includes one of the Frank Lloyd Wright houses. We downloaded the self-guided tour and walked around to see almost all the houses on the list. Even those houses not on the official historical house list are nice to see. Most are beautiful and well maintained. This whole walk took 1.5-2 hours. read more

Heritage Hill Association - The Castle - Homeowner Association Near Me - Grand Rapids, Michigan

The Heritage Hill Association website lists apartments for rent and they include photos now (they didn't when I first rented my HH apartment). You can also sign up for Heritage Hill alerts from the Heritage Hill Association, which let you know of events and volunteer opportunities in the neighborhood as well as crime alerts in the area. They will even come to your home and do a safety check and teach you how to secure your home.
