So 14 months prior to the event, I requested the deposit to be returned. Since there was no contract, no policy of a returned deposit, and it being over a year prior to my event I feel that it should be returned. However, they don't even return any communications -- calls, emails, I posed on their website. As a result, I had to contact the BBB. I wouldn't plan any event ever at this venue. It's a wonderful space but very unprofessional. There isn't a line of authority where issues can be escalated to.

Then we worked with Kelsey the rest of the time and on the day of our wedding Sept 30th. Hanni was extremely responsive, professional, and knowledgeable about everything with planning our reception at Circa. Kelsey was super helpful - we live in Colorado and when we arrived for the wedding the week beforehand she let us come to Circa at our convenience to drop off decor (2 different times). She made herself available at all hours of the day to me and provided me her cell number in case of emergencies the week of the wedding/leading up to it. Kelsey and the Circa team set everything up for us and the place looked AMAZING - everything was beautiful! They took our decor and put it all together in a way that was perfect. They followed our timeline perfectly all night and worked with our DJ/photographer to make sure each part of the night went smoothly. Kelsey came up to us throughout the night to see if we needed anything (if we did, she was quick to execute). At the end of the night Kelsey and the team put all our decor back in boxes and packed it up for us, which was EXTREMELY helpful!! They really did not miss the mark anywhere - everything was so so perfect thanks to them! I couldn't say enough good things about Circa, Kelsey, and Hanni. The package deal they offer for weddings is amazing as well. I recommend Circa to anyone getting married - you won't regret it! They make the process so easy and the wedding so beautiful/elegant. ***Side note: we were worried about it being a tight fit since we had ~160 guests but so many people told us this actually was a great part of the reception - being in a smaller space forced everyone to be together and mingle... I think it really made the night that much better!

The upstairs area works great for a lounge/retreat from the main event, as well as serves as a great place to set up a photo booth. The staff is also incredibly helpful. The event I planned for work had an extremely tight budget, but everyone at Circa worked with us to make sure those attending would feel special and impressed. They were also polite, courteous, and informative through several rounds of questions and changes in plans on our end. I am so happy to have an event space like this in Kenosha, particularly one with such fine catering.

While my money was refunded, there was no apology, no explanation, and no effort to offer any accommodation or alternative solution. Canceling a confirmed reservation at the last minute can seriously disrupt travel plans, and that's exactly what happened here. Very disappointing experience.

There were items left from previous guess under the bed and the counters, or desk weren't wiped down, the little mini lotions in the bathroom were open and had dried suds like it was left from the last guess. Our second stay we checked in at night so didn't really see much until the next morning, the room again was not clean properly. There was also a major ant issue. We were on the 4th floor and the ant were everywhere. Crawling on our beds, floor,desk,bathroom,closet EVERYWHERE. We spoke with the front desk to change our room and they said they didn't have any rooms available but would come and clean the room and replace our sheets. The young girl from the desk came and vacuumed and sprayed the front of the floor. She said the manager would be her in the morning and would refund,discount, or provide a voucher for our stay. We couldn't leave hotel it would've been even more inconvenient especially with children. The next morning comes, manager isn't here and were told because we booked through a 3rd party app there is nothing they can do and offered us a snack from the snack shop or free breakfast item?! Really?! I really didn't want to leave this review I'd hope this would have been resolved properly. We learned that they knew about the ant issue but still decided to rent out the room. For the price you pay to stay here the cleaning is unacceptable and the skills to resolve any concerns are lacking.
