My initial assessment and fitting was excellent. I received an email to follow up before my…read morewarranty expired. I showed up for my appointment and I was not on their appointment book. My interaction with the front desk person went from bad to worse. When I was asked to review what happened I went through my phone and could not remember as she her questions were being fired at me. I was asked if I responded to the email. She wanted me to show it to her. Since it was over two weeks earlier, I could not find it. She then basically implied that I may or may not have set up the appointment. It is not nice to assume an over age 60 person can't remember or is confused. I then said, I did not email I had called the number. During that time she was impatient and scheduled an appointment for me the next day. Not admitting there was a mistake on their end. Almost like covering it up. I did find in my phone records. I had called the number and they had called me back setting up the appointment. At this point, it did not matter to the front desk person. I asked to talk to the manager, because I did not like the insinuations or treatment I received. I was told that Tad the manager was not there. I am making this review because empathy and grace is needed when dealing with people. Especially people that are at retirement age. This facility has great customer IQ with their audiologists. They are top notch. Not the front desk. After they have your money, there is no appreciation or self awareness that they may have made a mistake and not booked the appointment that was set up by a customer. It is not always the fault of the customer. Unfortunately, my rescheduled time interfered with my activities I scheduled with my out town family that was here for the Holidays. So I lost out for something I did not do. And when I went back, no Tad that is supposedly the manager. I wanted to talk to him. What a disappointment that a leader has no interest in customer feedback. My review is top notch audiologists, with an opposite front desk experience for any follow up care.
