First off...I'm not in San Fran...Im in Middleboro, MA. I called in to inquire about septic…read moreservices after this company came highly recommended by a Facebook post I had put up in a town page. When I had called, the person I spoke to WAS nice. The customer service was good. My problem is that when I called, I covered 3 major points as follows... 1) I JUST bought my new house in August 2024. 2) This is precautionary as I don't know when the last time the tank was pumped. 3) I have NEVER in my 45 years lived in or dealt with a septic system. I am completely ignorant on this topic. I was assured I was doing the right thing and we scheduled an appointment. I was EVEN assured that it was better to be safe that sorry. I WILL say this. The gentleman who came out was prompt, he was courteous, and professional. He did a really good job as far as I could tell. Where this falls apart is in the time waiting for the service appointment I discovered that in the town I live in, when a TitleV inspection is done a pump must be done with the inspection. I did mention above that I am admittedly ignorant of these things. Not wanting to just take second hand information, I contacted my town's Health Department which unfortunately couldn't get back to me before my service appointment. When I called to make my payment, the first question I asked was "Does the town of Middleboro require a system to be pumped for the completion of the TitleV certification?" She knew RIGHT away without hesitation; and answered assuredly. I then expressed my disappointment in the situation stating that I feel taken advantage of as a new customer. I told the woman EXACTLY what was covered in my conversation while initially inquiring about services and setting up the appointment. I explicitly talked about ALL three points above with the original woman. There was ZERO effort on their part to take any responsibility whatsoever. Just "It wasn't me" (event though it sounded like the same person I talked to previously). She just kept calling it a miscommunication and when I called to set up the appointment I should have covered these items. I expressed multiple times I did and I felt that as the PROFESSIONALS they should have better guided a new customer, especially having the knowledge I expressed to them. She never even attempted to work with me. No small percentage off. No "just cover the cost of our disposal." Nothing. I told her that I would be leaving a review of this experience where I can, and would never work with them again if this was their stance (placing it all on me). It didn't seem to phase her whatsoever. And that's their prerogative. It wasn't miscommunication. I communicated clearly, they either just didn't listen, or didn't care. But what I will not except is ignorance of the ability to leverage what I said to my benefit, and not theirs. If they had just been honest, and told me to wait because it was just done...I would have 1000% used them BECAUSE of their honestly and they would have gained a customer for life. Now, they have $353 more dollars and I'd never use or recommend them to anyone. I wasn't looking for a free handout. I would not do business with these folks if you have other options. Its nothing personal.

As a new father and new home owner, I've had to learn to admit that there are things I don't know…read moremuch about. My knowledge of Septic Systems was very limited, and we were getting a foul odor of sewage permeating into our basement. Figuring the Septic System needed to be pumped (because I at least knew that was a thing), I began digging up my back patio that buries the septic cover to the system (I had a rough idea of where it was - I only missed it by about 5 feet to the left). I called Soares Sanitation Pumping on Monday morning to schedule maintenance, and they were at my house by Noon. Joe and John were awesome and they both gave me tons of valuable information to keep my Septic system running smoothly. Not only did they show me several things I didn't know about my septic system, but they also showed me what I should do if the system ever backs up, and how to prevent these sewer odors from entering my house in the future. I am happy to say that the odor is gone! I strongly recommend Soares Sanitation Pumping. I know I will be using them in the future. Thank you again Joe and John - You guys are lifesavers!

Start off by saying they not once called to tell us they were coming to my property and had to move things that were in their way without asking (vehicles and other equipment, they were very rude and treated us like it had nothing to do with it. Treated my wife like she was an idiot for asking them to do a simple task. We bought this house in October 2025 and they just finished the job and it is the middle of may 2026. Would not recommend this company to anyone, id pay more money to have it done in a more timely fashion with a company that doesnt treat people this way. STAY AWAY

Was actually going to use a shovel to pry open a cover that required a drill bit. Fast forward to 2026 and found that the septic technician never locked the zabel filter in place. Our septic pump stopped working and our alarm went off. I immediately called avery because they had…read morebeen doing our regular pumping. That was the beginning of our nightmare experience. It was Thursday morning around 8. Steve avery showed up at around 1 pm and acknowledged that the pump should be replaced. He had the chamber pumped on Friday and said he would get a new pump. We had to refrain from using excessive water. He just left us hanging. I called Friday evening and he said he had the pump but wouldn't work on it til Monday. Monday came and went and he ignored our calls. Also Tuesday ignored our calls. Tuesday night promised Wednesday morning. Nothing. Finally came by Thursday without speaking to anyone, left in 30 minutes . No communication until Monday when we got a bill. Still no communication but assume work is done. Called and asked for information on warranty. Still nothing. It's been 10 days​
