They are constantly telling me to lose weight, but they understand I have an eating disorder when I ask not to step on the scale. And she is overweight and looks unhealthy. It made me wonder if she had just given up on any real semblance of health and healing. I was sick once, throwing up in their bathroom while waiting to be seen. Instead of even looking at me, they sent me across the hall to the emergency room and the next thing I know I was being given habit-forming drugs that I did not actually need and which were not actually made for my symptoms. Any idiot could have seen this was not a life-threatening emergency. I was simply sick. You know, a strep test, urine sample, that sort of thing would have made sense.

Lab results, prescriptions, billing-- these are all big problem areas for this office; there is a portal patients are encouraged to sign on to, but it goes unused. Although this office supposedly connected with the BCH system, they do not seem to actually be connected... One must sign up for completely different portals for hospital, doctor, etc... If you come from a seamless system such as Kaiser, where records, labs, appointments, etc., can always be accessed---this practice and network is light years behind that.. When I complained, they blamed and ignored me and made me out to be a "problem" even to the rest of the staff, which was weird and unprofessional. Not recommended.

One of my favorite things about Dr. Koza is she likes to think outside the box and brainstorm solutions for issues her patients are having. As far as her pricing goes, I am astounded at how much care you receive for the yearly membership with Manifest Health. It is, without question, the most well-spent money. I have multiple chronic diseases, and have a team of specialists, but Dr. Koza is my quarterback and she makes my health and life so much better. Not many businesses will do that. Dr. Kuchar apologized for the miscommunications and challenges, and I was told they would process a (partial) refund. Since they could just as easily written me off and done nothing, I have to give credit where credit is due. The ownership cared enough to not just reach out to me, but to put in place systems with his staff to do better in the future.

I was at Community Medical Center at the Layfette office on 2/25/22 for a lab draw. I checked in…read morewith registration around 11am. At the time I was unaware that the business establishment still required masks to be worn. I entered without one. The 2 registration clerks rudely told me to put a mask on and promptly handed me a mask, to which I replied that I had a mask in my pocket. I took it out of my pocket, just after the clerk again rudely told me to put it on immediately to which I obliged. I put my mask on, completed checking in and proceeded to the Laboratory waiting area. There was no further discussion on masks. No confrontation and no refusal on my part. To my knowledge all was well. Today however, I received an email from my employer that a CMC employee submitted a complaint, stating that I refused to wear my mask. Not only did the employee that called, blatantly LIE she also went through my personal file to find out MY personal work information. I want to preface that to my knowledge all mask mandates had been lifted in the state of Colorado, so any mask requirement currently in place is related to the individual business policy/preference and NOT legally law or mandate. Additionally I would confidently request the office to pull up surveillance tapes in the lobby that show me wearing a mask with no objection. I strongly advice Community Medical Center to better inform their employees of what is and isn't acceptable in their profession. Starting with client confidentially and personal integrity. The employee clearly took unacceptable action for personal leverage, not based on honesty or fact. This is not only a breech in patient confidentiality it's additionally defamation of character and false accusation. I would greatly appreciate if a representative from human resources would contact me regarding this matter. Furthermore I don't recommend Community Medical center Lafayette for any health or wellness needs.

If you question their decision they get offended and their Demeanor changes to one of annoyance and irritation..... I read another review on yelp that was very similar to this one. It seems they do this to quite a few people. We will not be returning and quite frankly good riddance. Not having to deal with that ridiculous, no personality receptionist is enough for us to not go back.
