He discussed with the couple and was happy to work with their plans and what they did and didn't want, and very thoughtful about the photography options with great suggestions. He knew how to compose shots and make them look great. But most important, the pictures came out wonderful! After meeting with several photographers we decided to go with Paul Pruitt. Let me just say that I…read moream not easy to please :), but he came highly recommended from a friend. From the first time we met with him I loved his positive energy, passion for what he does, and not to mention, his WORK! He very professional and although extremely busy he is always quick to respond to emails and calls so he has been super easy to do business with. He was very flexible and allowed us to shoot or pictures at two different locations, brought a second photographer, and great lighting equipment which was perfect for our evening shoot. Recently, a last minute audition came up that required a professional headshot, so I searched for…read moreheadshot photographers in the area and I found Paul Pruitt Photography. I called Paul, and he told me he could fit me in the next day at 5:30/6PM. Unfortunately, when the time of the appointment came, all contact was lost with him. I tried calling, texting, e-mail, he simply would not reply to any of them. Then, I went to his studio in Wilmington, and there was nobody there. It wouldn't be until two days later, only after I tracked down his personal Facebook and messaged him there, that I managed to get in contact with him. His reply was a simple, "I am having family issues, please find someone else." And that was it. Family issue or no, it was highly unprofessional of him to not give me the courtesy of at least letting me know that he would be unavailable so that I could find another headshot photographer in time. My only option became to submit a homemade headshot, which will most likely significantly decrease my chances of getting noticed by the casting directors. And the worst part is that he didn't even apologize. He might as well have said "f*** off." This man is unreliable, untrustworthy, inconsiderate, and clearly does not care about his customers. He had the audacity to set an appointment and completely shrug me off until it was too late. I can't even tell if his "family issues" story is real, as his Facebook wall suggested he was happily watching the Super Bowl while I was desperately trying to contact him. Regardless, the simple fact of the matter is that I relied on him, and he screwed me over. My audition might as well be ruined. This is simply not good business practice. If you want a trustworthy photographer who cares about his customers and who will keep his appointments, I highly recommend you find someone else.

From the moment we entered the studio with our newborn teeny tiny twins, Jamie and her assistant made us feel completely comfortable and we knew our babies were in amazing hands with them. They handled them with love and care that was comparable to the way a loving mother or grandmother holds their new baby. Jamie asked for our preferences in advance of the shoot and then incorporated every single idea we gave her into a well thought out set of photo shoots. One idea in particular involved getting a whole set of new props that were not easily found. But, Jamie scoured the internet and made it happen. She so far exceeded our expectations that I can't imagine ever using another photographer when it comes to capturing our babies as they grow. She is truly an artist, a professional, and perhaps the sweetest, most kindhearted and honest person you could ever wish to work with.

I am from the West Chester area and shopped around, but I wanted to find a "vibe" with someone that I trusted to take beautiful photographs of my family. When I met Bev in her home studio, surrounded by the photographs of other families, I felt that her style of photography captured exactly what I was looking for, and after talking to her I was sure that she was the one to do the job. Now, I have a large framed family photograph over my fireplace, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. It took some coordinating (make sure you ask her for advice of what clothes/colors to wear), and we went through a lot of poses (as many as my kids would stand). After it was over, Bev patiently went through the photos with us on a large projector and we took our time narrowing down the choices to the shots we wanted to keep. Through the whole process, Bev and Jessica kept in contact with us. And now, we have a framed portrait that is all I could have ever wanted -- the kids, smiling! We decided it was time to have pictures taken to celebrate our anniversary and create new memories. I was nervous about calling a photographer and explaining my wanting to take "wedding pictures" for us minus the wedding. Setting up the appointment was easy and Jessica was great to work with. When we met with Bev she immediately made me feel at ease, she was familiar with our requested location and showed us the best places to take pictures. She even timed the appointment for between 4 & 6 PM to get the perfect lighting. It was a truly magical day. Jessica reached out to let us know the pictures had been posted for us to view on-line and that we could come to their studio to take a closer look. Which we did, three times! I am very picky and there just were so many beautiful pictures that it was really hard narrowing it down. The memory book Bev created is my favorite thing we did by far.
