That's what you'll find at Kilroy's. I popped in on a whim and found some of the coolest Americana. I saw everything from antique fishing lures to life size Elvis mannequins. This is definitely a fun place to stop in and have a look around. You can get some cool pictures with the 6 foot hotdog figurine thing. Kilroy's is an awesome museum of antique and off-beat Americana and everything's for sale! As with most places of this type the prices are prohibitively expensive for the average person just stopping in to have a look. However it's likely that this place has a lot of value for the collector who needs that one last piece that they've been looking for all these years.

It's a beautiful little boutique that sells handcrafted quality bedding and mattresses that are all made by Amish craftspeople. EVERYTHING is made from organic luxury materials. The engaging sales lady Dawn was super knowledgeable and helped me figure out what would be the most comfortable style of bed for me. I also met the shop owner Karna, who introduced me to a fabulous line of wool blankets. I will definitely be back with my tax refund!

I love the density of the pillow. It's firm and supportive, so I don't feel like I'm having to re-adjust it all night long. And I love that the volume of the pillow can be easily modified with side zipper access. Plus it's made of natural rubber. It's also packaged in an adorable, reusable canvas bag that would make it a beautiful, eco-friendly gift. Already thinking about these pillows as gifts for the holidays next year.

This place features local artists who create unique, creative, special and important pieces of art. They are often open for the community to come view the current display, and never charge a fee. There are also individual art spaces that people rent to create their work. I have met a few artists who were there working while I was viewing some paintings. It's also a space where people gather for writing workshops, tai chi and other events. Outside there is street parking right out front, and places to lock up your bike. There is also a tiny library stand, where you can borrow a book. Take one and leave one for someone else to read. Enjoy this gallery monthly for a different experience each time.

A fellow graffiti lovin' friend told me about an art gallery event that was happening today. I…read morecouldn't resist popping in! I love art and yes, I admire graffiti art too. The wall was painted besides the skate park was painted in 3 days by 3 graffiti artists that have been tagging for around 40 year together! I was blown away that was done in just 3 days!! I happened to start chatting it up with one of the gals that was part of the gallery/skate park (she might have been the owner. Dang being deaf and not catching everything said!!) and said they have actually been here for 24 years!! She shared that they have programs for teens (14-22) to teach them art and employ them. What a beautiful, touching part of the community they are!! The gallery itself was ultra clean, modern, and adorable. I was just so impressed all around with the space & their mission!
