Wow! What a great new facility! I generally try to avoid going to the doctor, but this may change…read moremy mind! Admittedly, this is really close to my neighborhood. So, first and foremost, it is extremely convenient by bike or car! However, when I walked in for the first time today, I was even more excited. You walk in to a very small and welcoming reception area with no line! (I was able to deal with all of that 'initial paperwork stuff' within 10 minutes.) Since the clinic has multiple departments, including family health, urgent care and chiropractor, they ask you to wait in the area designated to your department. Again, we were the only ones in the place and were able to avoid that mass waiting room like usual. The waiting area had large open windows to watch the happenings on Chicago Ave.; a nice change from dull white walls. The actual walls are decorated with tasteful artwork! I love the actual exam rooms! They have two doors so that the nurses/doctors can access them from their own office area rather than the public entrance. It eliminates so many people walking around and the uncomfortable feeling that someone is dying because it reminds you of that episode of ER or Grey's Anatomy... I digress. The staff was extremely pleasant! They made me feel welcome and calm. Everyone explained information in detail, but without sounding like a pretentious 4th year med student. The nurse even showed me information (and pictures) on the internet during our appointment so that I had a better understanding - helpful and educational! I can totally see this being my new primary care provider soon. Great location! Great facility! AND, it is located right next to the Town Hall Tap and Pumphouse Creamery - two of my favorites! Doctor, lunch and dessert all in one short trip. I love it!

Patients who have difficulty negotiating automation may need help w the check-in but the process works well and probably helps Quest keep prices down. However the blood draw did not go well. The phlebotimist's jab did not produce any blood in the vial and but did produce a shooting pain on my arm which I describe as a 9 out of ten (ten is worst ever). The phlebotomist seemed confused about how to proceed and finally called a more experienced employee, who drew blood without a problem or pain. Phlebotomist #2 seemed expert, while phlebotomist #1 seemed inexperienced and unsure of herself. prior to today I have had more than 40 blood draws without pain or inciden. My advice: avoid the inexperienced phlebotomists at this facility.

The form on the website is very odd, as it has a place to check regarding the cost of the testing and how many samples you are submitting but no mechanism to provide payment. I guess I'm glad for this, since they never followed up, but it was confusing from the start and turned out to not be helpful. We've reached out numerous times with no response.

PLUS, Troy left the dishwasher running prior to leaving and it ended up flooding our kitchen. Troy took no responsibility for this. After filing a complaint with the BBB I learned Troy had another pending dishwasher complaint. Avoid this company and if your buyer selects them I'd suggest you talk them out of it.

Some of the reviews are disturbing. During COVID, many staff eventually quit due to exhaustion from months of long hours, grief and discouragement, and an atmosphere of abuse from some patients and family members. Now there aren't enough nurses. It's a very real problem, but badgering those who stayed on sure won't help. Best to take complaints to administration.
