The card is a dental card that my employer provided me with two days ago. The girl took a look at the card and simply expressed that it was a medical insurance card rather than a dental card. I showed her that the card clearly says: dental card. When we proceeded with the dental cleaning the dental hygienist( Rany) just removed the tartar formation in my front teeth not the ones in the back, also polishing my teeth with a special paste or pumice to remove plaque and stains was a forgotten step which is needed to leave my teeth smooth and shiny, this step was forgotten or simply the hygienist was in a rush. Another step which I did not receive or was purposely forgotten due to poor professionalism or lack of knowledge was flossing between my teeth to remove remaining plaque or debris. 2 steps were forgotten and made me think about the professionalism of the staff working there and how they are going to manage to keep customers going to their practice. The poor procedure of removing tartar formation just from the front teeth and not from the rest, in addition to no flossing or polishing clients teeth, demonstrates a substandard kind of care that should not be given in the USA. Overall rating = substandard dental care, worst than mediocre.

I have taken my kids to Dr. Sicher for a few years now as it has been difficult to get in with…read moredentist in our insurance plan. I probably have had maybe two sentences of conversation with the dentist over these years as he acts like it is painful to talk to you and he spends less than 5 minutes with the patients. The hygenists are friendly and they will admit that Dr. Sicher prefers for the staff to speak with and explain things to patients. The real pain comes with procedures that he rushes through without adequate analgesia and then again when you get the bill. They charge more for procedures than I have seen any dentist charge and you get maybe 1/3 of this back from insurance if you're lucky. They will not hesitate to cancel or reschedule you the day of an appointment and the office staff is not friendly, accommodating, or apologetic when they jerk you around with scheduling even after your child has taken off school for the visit. If you are looking for a personable practice, keep looking as we are doing now.

I went to this dentist because I had to have a tooth pulled. I was referred by a dr who worked…read morewith them next door. I had no choice because I was in so much pain. I was informed that my insurance would NOT cover this claim. It turns out my insurance DID cover it and the balance was $33. This was in December. I was in and out of the hospital, my finances were being transferred from CT, and I received statements from the dr's office about this $33. The last statement I received was on March 31st stating that if I did not make a payment that they would "pursue further legal action." March 31st... this was a Tuesday. I was served today with a Civil Hearing for this bill stating that I had to pay $183.50!!!! This office NEVER called me to get a payment, they only sent statments. The last statement sent was LESS than a month before they filed charges. According to the District, I was told that it takes at LEAST a week for them to process the charges. Which means they were NEVER going to give me the change to pay this balance. I called the office today and told them that I would GLADLY come in and pay the $33 charge - and I was informed that I have to pay $269 because of the court fees. DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS DENTIST!!!! They are all about money and care NOTHING about their patient.
