The schedules are posted at each pier. There is also a screen that has all the schedule for all piers. The gentleman in the information booth was very kind and helpful. He knew the schedule and which pier each ferry is departing from. While waiting for your boat, take the time to soak in the views, watch the birds, ducks and swans floating around. The ferries are on time. I took a roundtrip ferry to/ from Burgenstock. The views along the way were amazing.

Taking the tram to the top took a good 20-25 minutes. We beelined for the ice cave which was exciting for the kids, one plays hockey and my girl figure skates so no biggie for them. I on the other hand was super careful not to slip walking on ice. I already broke my coccyx snow boarding once. I wasn't going to do it again at 10k ft elevation. Make sure to wear hiking shoes with good traction. It was very gloomy and cold that day, felt like winter because of the summer storm. We all braved going outside to do the cliff walk but the visibility was no more than 5ft, only my daughter and hubby got to the end of the suspension bridge. It felt like Mt Everest and we only had our last minute parkas and hoodies purchase on so my fingers were frozen popsicles. Our tickets also included the ice flyer but because we were going to be exposed to the frigid temp, we decided to ditch it and cozied up inside the restaurant for some hot cocoa. On our way down we got off Trübsee, explored the lake and got a little too close to the grazing cows, they do stink. Despite the crappy weather, it was an exciting adventure for the family.

Titlis Cliff Walking - you walk between two mountains on a cliff (Free) 2. Glacier Cave (Free) 3. Snow tubing (Free) 4. Ice flyer (Free) 5. Panoramic Ice Hike (free) 6. So many restaurants at each and every stop 7. Lindt Chocolate store / Gelato I would try to go when their are clear skies (no rain) so you can truly appreciate the sky views. You can find a 24hour live web- footage of the Views from the website to see if the skies are clear FYI VERY IMPORTANT - if you are a tourist in Switzerland - consider buying Travel pass when you go based on the number of days you stay. You get several perks of buying the Swiss Pass. 1. With this Pass- you get to ride all trains boats and buses for free. 2.With the pass you also get 50% off all Skylifts/trams taking you up to the mountain tops. FYI if you think you will save money by buying Swiss train tickets individually, you probably wont. The individual price value for a single train ticket is very expensive. Especially if you are going from major cities to country side. You may need to use several trains.

Lots of nice hiking trails to get in some amazing views of the countryside. We came to Switzerland for a family reunion in Horgen where we'd made arrangements with an AirBNB. Those plans fell through, so we ended up here... a little bit away from the reunion, but not terrible. The hotel is right on the main street so it's easy to get to. The staff is friendly and spoke English well, although I was constantly trying to improve my Swiss German. The rooms are need and clean... if a bit small. Breakfast was included with our stay and it was really quite good. Nice selection of breads, fruit, yogurts, soft boiled eggs and nice cheeses and sliced coldcuts. They had an excellent coffee machine too. Swiss coffee has to be the best I've ever had. Made me buy a Nespresso machine last time I was here. There is no A/C, which didn't matter as the nights we were there, the air was cool and crisp, however, there is an elevator and free wifi.
