I thought I would enjoy some independence. First each time you call they ask you how your paying so if you're a senior paying with tickets you get to wait an extra long time. I observed this by saying I was paying cash and them showing up quickly. Then I needed to get my granddaughter to school and said I was paying in tickets she was almost 2 hours late even though we had called in plenty of time to get her there on time. I dealt with 3 or 4 different women and only one of them were respectful or kind the other ones were extremely rude. When I asked for the supervisor the person said I am the supervisor I said then can I get a name of the owner or manager she said they won't talk to you . The last straw was being stood up twice and their refusal to answer the phone. If it was possible they would receive whatever the opposite of a star would be. It is unbelievable they are still allowed to provide any type of customer related services.

We said yes, one dog. They asked what breed, and we replied that she's a mixed breed. We were asked if there was any Pitt in her, which there obviously is, so we said yes. They have a zero Pitt bull policy. No other breed. Doesn't matter if they are a mix, and the most gentle creature. In six years, traveling all over Oregon, Washington and Idaho, this was a first for us. Fortunately the other nearby rv parks aren't so ignorant.

I had accidentally booked a handicap accessible room when using Orbitz. She was calling to see if that was a necessity and if there was anything else they could prepare for us if that was the case. We told her that we did not need an accessible room. She mentioned they'd had a crazy day and she worried our room would not be ready by 4pm. This was fine as we wouldn't arrive until after 5. No big deal. She decided to upgrade us to an extended stay room anyway, equipped with a fridge and range top. The room was nicer than I had anticipated. It was very clean. The bed was comfortable. There are blackout curtains in the room that made for very peaceful sleep after a late night at the county fair. No streetlights leaking in. If your kids want to swim and if you need tiny boxes of cereal in the morning, this may not be the place for you. For me, I spent $50 less than what the other hotels charged and was treated to a great room with an incredible staff of people making sure all our needs were met. Thank you to Kellie and the team. It was super windy that day but we managed. The Sage Center at the time we came had construction going on for an expansion. The construction only affected one exhibit. It was a Ballon ride experience I think. It was super cool being up close to an industrial sprinkler system. They are massive. You really don't get a feel for how big this simple water sprinkler is from the highway as you drive by. There is a moving display of how how potatoes go from the field through a system of machinery that turns potatoes into fries and packages them at the end. I know I'm not doing it justice but you'll have to check it out for yourself. It's a self guided tour so you can take your time. Worth the price of admission. I'd go again.
