After retrieving my bag I walked out and the National / Alamo shuttle was there within a couple of minutes. Wasn't sure about my Emerald Club status so went to counter. Agent was very friendly and efficient. He checked me in quickly and sent me off to the Emerald Isle to pick my car. There wasn't a large selection available but I picked a red VW Jetta. The car was clean, full of fuel and ready to go. It was a great ride. The only negative was that both key fobs were permanently wired together; I don't understand why they do this. It's really annoying to have to carry something that bulky in your pocket or in my case on my belt loop. All in all it was a good experience. The check-in process was quick and painless and they got me to the terminal in plenty of time for my flight.

I hate to even give this a one star My rental car that was…read morepicked up from Fl. broke down on 95N in Wilson, NC I called to get a car after that had the other one towed and they kept telling me they didn't have any cars but I could come and sit in the waiting area just in case mind you this is 9 am on Sat and they close at noon and don't reopen until Monday. I asked if there was anything I could do any other options I just got ma'am over and over sorry not sorry attitude. After calling the branch I got the rental from he rented me a new car at the airport which I needed to pay for an Uber to the airport since I now have no car. Wilson branch may not have had cars but the lack of problem solving and the inability to suggest the airport or any other location is pathetic at best. All the other branches were helpful. Not once did I hear I am sorry our car broke down on you, what can we do to make this right I received a, " sorry ma'am there is nothing we can do for you but you can come sit here for 4 hours when we know we won't have a car for you. I always use enterprise when I travel and because of this branch I really don't care to ever use them again. Good Luck as a customer.

The assistant manager, that was there on 7/9/2026 in the afternoon, asked me for my personal insurance limits, when I told him that I was not buying their insurance. Does not make sense especially when I found out from customer service that you don't need insurance to rent a vehicle. But my insurance card was not enough for him. When I looked at the vehicle that he said was a standard SUV and told him it was a little dirty in the inside. He didn't like what I said. Now Mr. Assistant Manager, I, just like many people work hard for my money. And if you expect to raise prices and people continue to rent vehicles you should at least keep the product the same and don't downgrade, and at least clean it up. I'm not going to keep my mouth shut and submit to this. He ended up not renting to me, because I didn't do what he wanted, take the downgrade at the same price and purchase insurance. Little that he knew, he did me a favor, because I saved my money and drove my own vehicle. I was only renting because I didn't want to put the extra miles on my vehicle.And another thing, you should not penalize the customer and have them paying for an extra day because you are closed on Sunday. Most people want to bring their vehicle back on Sunday. Why should they have to pay for that extra day. Because this is the only rental car company in the area, you can do it, and you know it. So WRONG.
