If I could rate this location in Henderson, NC a 0, I would. They down grade vehicles but try to convince you that it's not. The assistant manager, that was there on 7/9/2026 in the afternoon, asked me for my personal insurance limits, when I told him that I was not buying their insurance. Does not make sense especially when I found out from customer service that you don't need insurance to rent a vehicle. But my insurance card was not enough for him. When I looked at the vehicle that he said was a standard SUV and told him it was a little dirty in the inside. He didn't like what I said. Now Mr. Assistant Manager, I, just like many people work hard for my money. And if you expect to raise prices and people continue to rent vehicles you should at least keep the product the same and don't downgrade, and at least clean it up. I'm not going to keep my mouth shut and submit to this. He ended up not renting to me, because I didn't do what he wanted, take the downgrade at the same price and purchase insurance. Little that he knew, he did me a favor, because I saved my money and drove my own vehicle. I was only renting because I didn't want to put the extra miles on my vehicle.And another thing, you should not penalize the customer and have them paying for an extra day because you are closed on Sunday. Most people want to bring their vehicle back on Sunday. Why should they have to pay for that extra day. Because this is the only rental car company in the area, you can do it, and you know it. Kristi was very helpful with the car and operating instructions. Only complaint was that their fee was $20.00 more than than the Enterprise just 20 miles away. Two of the same businesses that close togather should be priced the same. read more

We rented a car for pick up at 8 AM. Waited an hour until they gave us a different car. The car was very clean, but unbelievable getting in the car an hour late. read more

My husband & my vehicle was unfortunately involved in an accident that was the fault of someone else-on a major holiday- our town doesn't have a rental company & a vehicle was needed for an important out of town Funeral.Realizing it was the holiday plus post pandemic crisis- we knew a lot of patience was required to secure a vehicle which was out of pocket due to the former stated reasons.We went twice to this business and on the second day - did receive a vehicle.Maybe the representatives were exhausted due to a busy holiday but we felt the service was a little lackluster except for the day of return - we didn't know registration information wasn't needed in the vehicle and we worried in case we had to show proof - later after turning the car in- we did learn this information- it would have been nice to know ahead at the time of rental.Also- the original representative put the wrong dates on our contract requiring us to pay more money - we had no choice. We are thankful that we did get a vehicle during this time. It was a standard vehicle with everything needed for a 2 day out of town trip - and drove nicely. I must say the customer representative on Saturday was awesome- she was cheerful courteous informative- her rating is a five star.We have rented from Enterprise several times when in our town but this is the first time at this location- this location is close by a major interstate and surrounded by different shopping experiences and a major trauma center hospital. The parking is a little tight and there is a front door entrance and 2 side door entrances and vehicles on either side of the location. read more

I had a terrible experience with enterprise again within 2 months smh. I carried my car to the body shop this morning for repairs and dropped it off there, enterprise bought me a NASTY WHITE VECHICLE, of course the little paper that you guys leave in the car saying the car has been cleaned and sanitized but guess what it hadn't been cleaned, there's a soda bottle under the seat, the back seat had a great huge stain in it. So I decided to open the Clorox package to wipe down the steering wheel and the Geer stick because they both felt nasty, the Clorox cloth was filthy after cleaning the steering wheel and the geer stick. I hope I will NEVER need ENTERPRISE again. Oh I forgot the windows and side view was were dirty... so so disappointed. read more

This was definitely one of the most interesting encounters I've had with Enterprise. I was in Henderson on vacation visiting a friend (who did not tell me how run down and bad this city was) and needed to rent a car so I went to enterprise. I was "helped" by what seemed like the only girl that works there. I use quotations because all she did was have an attitude while I was trying to get a car. I eventually found out it was because she was dealing with "all these dumbasses in Henderson who think it's my fault they can't rent a damn car" which I completely understand. After I knew that she was very helpful and I finally got a car. She was the only one that was helpful enough and deserves more credit than she probably gets. If you're in Henderson for some weird reason definitely ask for her and hope you catch her on a good day (but let's be honest that's never going to happen) read more

My experience was exceptional. The manager is wonderful. She did her best to find a car that would fit our experiences. She made suggestions that were valuable, explained the insurance that I wanted and gave me the best rate she could. I have never had a better experience renting a car, and that applies to the two times recently that I rented a car. Thank you Manager Sandy, I will be back!!!!! read more
