This store is not clean. A customer and a cashier were talking about a RAT they both saw in the…read morestore! They didn't even seem disturbed by it. I will never go there again.

Cumberland Farms is just a convenience store, so perhaps it doesn't warrant a review. But I think…read morethey could do a lot better than they do, so I've decided to say something. First, I should mention that you can get cigarettes and gas there. I don't buy those things, so I can't comment on the prices. (For a long time this review said that beer was available there, but it wasn't.) Almost everything you buy there will cost more than a supermarket would charge. As an example, you'll pay $1 for a can of cat food that costs 60 cents in the supermarket. That is a 66% premium they are charging! They sell their own brand of various food products, along with national brands. In terms of food, little that they sell is high quality. For example, you can't get Arnold's or Pepperidge Farm bread here, only the cheap, spongy bread. Mostly they sell junk food -- soda, candy, chips, dips, pretzels, snack cakes, ice cream, frozen snack foods, etc., along with pre-packaged cold cuts (which are expensive), milk, cheese other dairy products. They carry pre-packaged sandwiches, and those are reasonably priced, and I do buy them. There is one breakfast sandwich, the chorizo & egg wrap, which I love, but the others aren't that good. They have their own ice cream, some of which is good and some isn't. In short, the food selection is small, and most of it is junky. Since I have a scale for my business, and since I buy their pre-packaged sandwiches, I started weighing them, and I discovered that about half of them are under-weight. For example, a package of chicken sandwiches that was marked 7.1 oz. actually weighed 6.8 oz. I'll continue to go there for my breakfast sandwiches. (Burger King makes better and cheaper breakfast sandwiches, but they aren't close by.) I'll also get ice cream there, but that's about it. Everything else is too costly.

I could not believe what I experienced today at this store. I ordered a large pastrami sandwich…read more This sandwich had 4 small slices of pastrami that were heated in a microwave. The sandwich was $10 so I decided to bring it back, to make note here this was not about the money since I also bought $50 worth of other items...anyway the owner and his wife argued with me stating that nobody else complains. I just stated that I'm not paying $10 for a sandwich with 4 small pieces of meat....the owner yelled out in front of customers that he will give me my $10 back but he does not want me to come back again. I stated trust me I won't. This was a horrible experience and I would not recommend this place to anybody.

Rochelle's Convenience Mart is by far... one of the most convenient convenience stores that I…read morefrequent. I remember stopping by this mart as a kid, roaming the aisles on the prowl for the perfect candy, chips, and ice cream combination to satisfy my junk food urges. Nowadays, I am usually after more mundane items such as the Saturday paper (for coupons) but its fun to look around and throw a treat in for myself from time to time. The employees here are very pleasant, efficient, and helpful. The store is well-stocked, well-lit, and they have a wide variety of products to choose from. There is just about anything you could possibly want or need within these walls. Ping pong balls? They've got them. A whole freezer full of novelty ice cream treats? You betcha'! The aforementioned Saturday paper when every other store in the area is out? Darn tootin'! It is pretty certain that anytime I walk into this mart I will not only be leaving with what I needed, but something else that I'm excited about as well! Located in a strip mall that has flip-flopped between failing and prospering over the last couple decades, this convenience store is an easy in and out. Plenty of parking... a short ride from Route 6 and 114 in Seekonk!
