Let me start with Amber Newberry, who is extremely knowledgeable about all things regarding window covering options and which are most appropriate for specific window types and locations throughout the house. This includes issues of controlling the amount of light and extremes of temperature coming through a window; thus we have a variety of window coverings to address these issues where relevant. Also, Amber is very accommodating and strives to achieve the best result for your taste and budget. I admire her professionalism. When our open kitchen remodel was dragged out past the original completion date, Amber (and Hester W.C.) agreed to delay installation of our coverings to protect them from exposure to heavy dust. This was very helpful to us! The installation of all the coverings went rather quickly and smoothly, thanks to the hard work and dedication of the installers. They were very pleasant and aimed to please. Brian returned to make some slight adjustments on a few coverings for better function. When it was discovered upon installation that two woven wood coverings did not fit optimally for ease of usage, Hester replaced them with new coverings without charge. Amber facilitated this after tweaking the measurements just so slightly, but it made a big difference! We used them before and after Kim bought the company. Same installers and mostly the same products after the sale of the company. I think Kim is more organized and you get the benefit of her decorator skills. She kept the shades within our budget in both projects. In hindsight, I would have gone with Kim's initial recommendation and spent a little more. The blinds are black-out and they work, but the more expensive brand would have been easier to operate. They provided excellent customer service by immediately inviting me to come to their showroom to look thru the selections. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Scheduling an appt for them to come to Fredericksburg was quick. They measured and installed within a few weeks. Very reasonable prices and I LOVE the shades that we picked.
