Het park is uiteraard bestemd voor kinderen al heeft men de laatste jaren er enkele tiener thrill rides bijgeplaatst zoals The Ride to Happiness die er volgens mijn zoontje wel meer uitzag als The Ride to Nightmare omwille van de vele loopings. Binnen enkele jaren zal hij het vast en zeker wel cool vinden. Hey park is mooi aangelegd en voldoende verscheidenheid in de verschillende attracties. Een hele dag rollercoasters kan maar lekker chill kan ook. Tof vond ik Wickieland. De Wickie The Battle is de max. Ga je nat worden? Yup. Gaat het het waard zijn? Yup, toch op een zonnige zomerdag. We waren ook fan van De Draak, DinoSplash en de glijbaan binnen het Maya gedeelte. De Plopsaparade was een toffe verrassing. Als vegetariër was het een beetje zoeken naar opties. Op het plannetje stonden vele opties aangegeven (vooruitgang!) maar helaas was het vaak dezelfde optie zijnde vegetarische wok. Bizarre keuze voor Mr Spaghetti waar ik me aan een lekkere pasta met groentjes verwachtte. Eten kan je doen tot rond 17u en dan zie je de opties één voor één sneuvelen. Laten we dan even een K3 concert geven en all eetgelegenheden sluiten. Fantastische timing...niet dus. Bij het frietkot stuurden ze ons naar Mr Spaghetti en daar zei men dat de keuken gesloten was. Parking was goed beschikbaar en bereikbaar. Personeel is over het algemeen vriendelijk. Zeker een aanrader.

Me and my partner (both in our early 20s) booked this park via a national newspaper offer so for…read moreour accommodation which was a Duingalow was only around £70 for a Monday to Friday stay. We booked a Ramsgate - Ostende ferry with LD Lines which I think we paid around £200.00 for. It was awful. Never again. When we arrived at the park the staff were friendly and spoke perfect English (which was great for us!). We were shown to our Duingalow (caravan) and weren't disappointed. It was a lovely caravan with a bit of decking and a BBQ. Everything worked fine and had everything it was supposed to. The park itself it really great... anyone with children should definately come here. The theme park is brilliant considering it's free (it's no Chessington or antyhing of that calibre but it certainly is entertaining). The water park is FABULOUS! and only costs about 2 euros for people staying at the site. We ate at one of the little fast food places which was also pretty good (a little expensive but I've generally found that places like this generally are in Europe). The staff (and locals) are really helpful. I (very spectacularly) managed to fall down 1 step and badly sprain my ankle. A very nice lady (not staff) came over and asked if I was alright as I had been sat on the floor for a while. I managed to get up and hobble away fine but it swelled up a LOT once I rested it. The next day we stopped at reception as we were leaving that day and asked for someone to 'properly' strap up my ankle so that I could walk on it a little and they were brilliant. We went into the little supermarket on site for 1/2 things but generally found it a bit overpriced (again as they all are at these kinds of places) but just in the town there is a supermarket called C1000 (which the reception staff actually recommended to us) which is brilliant. There is a LOVELY pizza place directly opposite. I would definately recommend it. We are going back this year (with a different ferry company for a much better price!) and are very much looking forward to it.

Miniworld is a nice place to visit with family or friends. We each used our RotterdamPas membership…read moreand so its free admission for us. Otherwise, admission is currently 14.70 Euro per person. You'll get to see miniature models of Rotterdam's landscape, such as the Erasmusbrug bridge, Euromast, Stadhuis (City Hall building), Rotterdam Centraal Station, and etc. You can spend about 30+ minutes here to browse the entire exhibits. They are also constructing a miniature version of Great Britain in the lower level, but it will probably take a few more years to complete. Overall, it's a cool tourist attraction to check out while in Rotterdam. It's also a five minutes walk from Rotterdam Central Station.

Stepping inside, you are steeped in a vast, complex mini world highlighting Rotterdam and many neighborhoods and smaller local cities to the area. At a scale of 1min. = 1hr., it's really cool to watch the day lighting transition to evening lighting (pinks), and finally end with night. All the little lights in mini world light up, and you feel like you are watching a tiny world exist. Highly recommend!
