We went for the hearty pancakes, one Hawaiian style and one shoarma based. Sizeable portions so we didn't need anything else (ok some garlic bread was hard to refuse). The local Texels bear is very nice, and the personnel couldn't have been more friendly or helpful.

Eigeweis's kitchen stays open longer than most but when we left at 10pm we were the last people in the place. We ordered a bread and cheese board to share. Nice presentation, but no small plates, so the 4 of us had to eat off the serving player and/or use our napkins. The Texel tap beer was great! The food is delivered by robot, which provides some novelty and entertainment. For mains the goat cheese salad was quite substantial. Thank you! The schnitzel was huge. The lamb sampler was also a huge amount of food. The large bowl of fries for the table as side dish were nice and crisp. The "applesauce" was kind of gross. Skip dessert. The brownie is just a square of chocolate cake. The hot chocolate is nothing special either.

This restaurant has delicious food, great presentation, outstanding service and wonderful owners. The variety and food is outstanding! Lamb and fish dishes were fantastic! Appetizers and soup were incredible! Desserts great!
