I hear that on Saturdays this place is Baby Central. :) But you can still find business guys and glamorous people here as well. But oh my god, the food! The steak was delicious, and thick, and juicy. I have never had a steak that is so thick but was still so easy to cut, and I used to live in Chicago, which tends to have the best steaks in America. The steak fries were also delicious and salty and crispy. Even the vegetables were good. It took me a while to finish everything, but I didn't want to let any of it go to waste. Hanging out drinking beer or wine, eating snacks or having a cocktail, this is a laid back place to do it. The crowd is mixed with locals and some tourists. They offer lunch and dinner if you get hungry while you're chillin'. Your dog is welcome to hang out also. This is actually two bars right next to each other. I have gotten used to ordering things at restaurants and what I imagine the food to be is completely different. This was time wasn't any different but I loved the surprise! But for lunch in the summer it was great to take a break from the hoards of summer visitors. They have burgers and more traditional Dutch fare. The bartender/server was real nice and the food was satisfying. It's also located kitty corner to a drawbridge and it's super cool to sit outside with a pint of local brews and watch the roadway lift up when boats pass by, especially for amateur infrastructure geeks like myself.
