Needless to say, when the time came, Robin Petersen could not offer his assistance, nor speak to us in person nor on the telephone to provide us options. The reason he stated was a conflict of interest because he also planned the second spouse's estate. So, we had to enlist the help of another attorney who straightened things out, but when he asked Robin Petersen for a certification of guardianship for the trust, he couldn't help us, again citing COI. Why would an attorney do that, unless he made an error and won't apologize for it? Do yourself a favor and get another attorney who won't cause you to pay twice (or more).

The one document he did prepare on my behalf was poorly prepared, margins had not been adjusted and there was a spelling error where the certificate of service line is - the word "date" was spelled wrong (other spelling/grammer errors were mine). I intend to contact the Better Business Bureau and make a formal complaint because he kept my money without doing the job. I have emails and a call history I can use to prove he requested the money via Zelle twice for services he didn't provide. There was one call I made to him after 5pm October 14th and one call after 6pm September 25th (the day I hired him without a contract because I believed Yelp reviews were likely accurate). I've reviewed the call history and we only had telephone communications on 11 days since I hired him.

He did not bring that video or use it in the case which led to me spending 15,000 more dollars so because he did not adequately defend me using direct evidence against the witness now I had to spend 15,000 more dollars. It seems that this may have been intentional seeing as how I literally hired him on the contingency that he brought this video to trial and then he did not. They did not give me a break on price. They overcharge the shit out of me about $400 for an hour worth of work did not give me adequate representation and when I brought this up to the owner of the law firm, he attacked me and still didn't give me any kind of a break on the price despite not getting what I paid for at all! They charged me almost $1000 for them to send a completely useless email. I had already done all the research and I'm sure that email is a template they use. In the end, they didn't fix the issue. I had to handle the infringement on my own. I reached out to the web host and boom, infringement gone. I would have paid for the info on how to handle it myself, but this felt like downright bad advice and theft. I DON'T TRUST THEM! They kept my almost $1,000 for that pointless email. I'm not even sure it reached anyone. Not a friend to local small business.
