This BBT location is right under the green building on Yonge and Sheppard. Always ate the food court but never got the opportunity to try out their BBT, so here i am! CUTE LOGO like SO CUTE! Definitely would not miss the store when you walk pass them. There was only one person working, so i would say drinks take 10-15 mins if you see a line up. Would recommend ordering your drink first before heading to the food court so you wont have to stay and wait. The Tofu pudding milktea 4/5 Its actually taste really light and not too sweet. Been here a couple of times. Standard bubble tea place that I would've given 3 stars to, except they had a couple of amazing offerings that bumped it up to 4: - Sakura: Sooo refreshing! Tasted like pulpy summer in a glass - Coconut Jelly: Jelly in a coconut husk. The jelly was creamy and loved how you could scrape off the coconut meat which was a good contrast. Also topped it with mango and pomelo which were nice. Other offerings were standard. They've just opened so have a couple of BOGO offers for both the bubble tea and the coconut jelly, so helps with the price. Worth a visit. read more

I have to admit, I was a bit disappointed when H cafe closed down. But shortly after, hey Niu Niu took the space and started renovation. I dropped by today and found out that they are doing a "buy one get one free" soft opening special for their top 6 drinks. My boyfriend and I shared a tofu pudding black milk tea and mango smoothie with cream cheese. For both drinks we got large and 30% sugar. The black tea drink was smooth and milky and the texture was further enhanced by the tofu pudding (dou fu fa). I like eating tofu and I'm not a big fan of tapioca so this drink was a perfect combo for me! We had the mango smoothie a few hours after it was made so it lost the smoothness as the blended ice had melted. This is completely our fault. However, I found the drink heavy on the artificial mango flavoring and would not get this drink again. Nonetheless, I will definitely come back to try their matcha cream cheese drink - got to support new businesses opening during the pandemic! read more

They opened about a month ago, currently have a BOGO offer. I encourage you to go try it. I got the brown sugar latte and Sakura drink, both were pretty good. They use real milk so that's a plus. Those who can't have dairy be aware. The service was a bit slow and I was the only customer, and with so many bubble tea places in the neighborhood, it's a competitive market. I thought the prices were a bit too high for what it is. $7-8 per drink and toppings will be additional. They are in between 3-4 star, I would give it a 3.5 star rating. This is a new place located under a condo. Tried the brown sugar and milk with tapioca and cheese foam. This is definitely a dessert drink. The brown sugar adds a caramel flavor and the cheese foam together makes it like a caramel Japanese cheesecake drink. Definitely on the sweeter side which is nice. The full set black tea is black milk tea with a bunch of toppings - tapioca, coconut jelly, pudding. This one is not as sweet which is actually really good for a bbtea. It is a small shop which serves both drinks and a few select desserts. There was only one person managing the shop when I was there so if there is a line for drinks I would think it would take a few minutes longer for one's order to come out. I was recommended to try the tofu pudding and oatmeal with coconut milk as I like both tofu pudding and coconut milk. It was also one of the interesting drinks there as well. I ordered it to be hot and without sugar as I was advised that the other ingredients in it were already sweet so I can cut back on the sweetness. This place is in a convenient location just south of Yonge and Sheppard. They currently have a BOGO for their soft opening and I tried two drinks in the large size that sounded the most interesting to me. Tofu Pudding Black Milk Tea: regular milk tea, nothing special as this is pretty standard but has a classic flavour. Tofu pudding isn't too sweetened which is nice if you don't like it too sweet. Wouldn't order again, can find milk teas with more dimension nearby. Mango Smoothie with Cream Cheese: this is more of a slush and tastes artificial. Seeing as there are lots of fresh mangos during the summer, this came as a shock to me. The topping was not expected like other cream cheese toppings but more milky. Wouldn't order again. Overall, this place has a lot of potential but I was disappointed with the subpar flavours. Every other bubble tea place in the area has very cool/unique and innovstive combinations but this place seems like your standard bubble tea joint. read more

My bf and I come get pretty much weekly.. Not even exaggerating lol. Looking at the pictures people posted, the top 6 have changed since the pictures were taken, but there's a good variety and good prices for the top 6 in particular! DRINKS: Our go to favorite drink is the full set black milk tea, which is milk tea with tapioca, pudding and I believe coconut jelly. I always ask for double toppings because I like chewing things lol, and I'm very glad the owner allows adjustment requests. For the evening, my go to non-caffeinated drink has been the full set coconut milk. We've also tried all the other top 6 drinks which are also very good :). And me being Chinese, I also enjoy the Logan and red date drink :9 and will be trying the ginger brown sugar drink when it's a bit colder. We've also gotten the Milk mochi with the pork floss. It's so tasty lol. I recommend giving the mochi a try if you have a textural preference in food. Haven't had a chance to try the other snacks yet though! read more

This place showed up on my FB feed and they had a BOGO promotion for their soft opening. My boyfriend got the Brown Sugar bubble milk while I got the grapefruit tea. I enjoyed my drink more than his; refreshing, tart and not super sweet. My boyfriends on the other hand was disappointing. I'm not sure what kind of milk powder they use but it wasn't creamy whatsoever and had this weird aftertaste. Their menu offers something different from your regular bubble teas and they have unique toppings, though their drinks are a tad on the expensive side. I liked Niu Nuu compared to other bubble tea places. My hubby and I have been here twice now since we like their unique flavours. My favourite one is the taro pudding, with its strong taro taste and smoothness. We have also tried the mango smoothie wth cream cheese, which was just ok and could have used more cream cheese. The grape one was really interesting because of the fizzy water used, though it was a bit too sweet for me. Overall I'd come back because of the interesting flavours. read more

I normally don't review BBT places but I guess I should start. I mostly came due to the promotional offers like BOGO free. This is a really good deal. They have some pretty standard stuff like brown sugar. I tried to get all the unique stuff like tofu pudding. Nothing really blew my mind. It's the year 2020 and I think all the innovation for BBT has already happened. There are probably 20+ BBT stores between steeles and sheppard on Yonge st so doing business is more about getting customers to come back with good value. They also have some coconut desserts which look a bit too small for something over $10. Didn't pull the trigger. I'll stick with their drinks for as long as they do promos. Sometimes I just need something tea + sugary and BBT hits the spot. read more

Came to get the BOGO offer. Agreed with the other review on the artificial taste of the mango drink. The green milk tea also tasted very watery... Maybe it's because the store is very new and yet used to the recipe? Will give it another try maybe read more
