New triple matcha drink! The line up to order is usually pretty quick but there is definitely a minimum 20-30 min wait for drinks to be made (weekday early afternoon). The matcha drink has matcha mousse and jelly and overall it was really good! Love the strong matcha flavour and the chewiness almost mochi-like mousse. Would get again!

For the price, this was just ok. The flavors didn't pop much, they put too much mulberry in my drink versus strawberry and my husband's grape drink tasted like they just drove by the grape flavor factory lol. Was super excited to see this open, but for the price, I would honestly go to CHICHA instead. Also, the tapioca claims to be "brown sugar tapioca", but it just tasted like basic tapioca devoid of brown sugar.

New Heytea location in Markville Mall in the Markham area. Arrived to see huge lineups (min 1 hour wait) due to their BOGO promotion for their grand opening special from July 25-27. The store is near the Best Buy location and has a very modern, minimalist decor. After the wait, was able to order the following: 1) Yumberry Bloom - Heytea's very refreshing signature tea, with a slight sour yumberry taste. 2) Mango Grapefruit Bloom - creamy and rich, filled with mango and pamelo toppings. Drinks average at a price from $8-10, on the higher end. However, despite the long lines, there was still good service and a smooth ordering experience. It is worth checking out and plan to come back after the promotion end and lineups die down.

All the staffs were very nice and friendly. Ordered the special promotion of the day, BOGO buy 1 get 1 free with the Coconut Mango Blue drink one day only on Sep 17, 2025. This was a new arrival summer favourite drink. It was really yummy like having a chinese mango dessert in a drink. The colour was so pretty in the pictires and it definitely matches for a summer drink. They have many other drinks worth trying too like Coconut Boom, Mango Grapefruit Boom, their matcha selections, etc. Definitely recommend this place for your bbt fix.

Inside markville mall, its closest if you enter from entrance 1! Do expect line ups as its relatively new. But they are good at line control and would get an extra ipad out to take orders when theres too many people!

My very first time trying heytea, located on the upper floor near Best Buy. I remember when it was first opened a few weeks ago, there were massive line ups. I went on a weekday and it wasn't that bad, I didn't have to wait that long to get the drink. I tried their triple supreme matcha latte,, they had the option for extra matcha so I requested for that. I must say the drink was delicious, totally hits the spot if you're a matcha fan like me. Majority of the drinks were $8+ and taxes which I did find it a bit pricey. The drink I got was $10 plus taxes. I guess this would be more of a higher end bbt shop. Overall the service was great, the matcha drink was worth a try. There are 3 small tables with seating available if you wanted to hang out with a friend.

Love Heytea! So nice they have a spot in Markville. Opening weekend was super busy, and there usually is a line (particularly when there's a BOGO offer, but they are so worth it)! The drinks are really invented and creative - the tea quality is outstanding and you can tell they carefully source and brew the tea. The triple matcha is one of my all time favs. I really like the ambience and branding as well, there's a some seating available inside too. Service is friendly and as prompt as possible (though with the volume of orders expect a 10-15 min wait). I'll be back!

The drinks are excellent with plenty of choices. Unfortunately, the wait to pick up the drinks is quite long. The prices are average and not particularly expensive.

Located in the Domino's/Sleemon plaza at Kennedy & Hwy 7. I came to try this place after attending a yelp event nearby with my gf and friend. The cashier was very helpful and knowing that it was our first time at the store, quickly rattled off a couple of suggestions and recommendations to us. My friend and I settled on Li Bai imperial lychee green tea and marc chagall mango summer fruit tea. The names of the drinks are super extravagant and pretty goofy tbh. We googled most of the names and found that the drinks have actually been named after renowned world figures which is kinda quirky and cool I guess. Also the fruit teas all come in 1L size cups. Perfect once summer arrives. As for the quality of the tea, it was actually very good despite pineapple and mango not being in season, so I can only imagine that it will taste even better once the fruits are in season. My friends drink actually had chopped up lychee in it which was a nice touch. Price-wise they seem to be upper end. Like more than the Alley but less than Ten Rens. Would return!

Tip: The sparkling fruit drinks are amazing…read more Last month, after work, I drove directly from my workplace to CF Markville for dinner. I was craving my usual from Bourbon St. Grill and hit the food court. While heading downstairs after walking through mall entrance 3, I saw this Chicha San Chen store. I flagged it for a visit. After having a satisfying, casual meal at the food court, I returned to the second floor and walked over here to check out the drinks. It was almost as if this store knew that I like fruit and sparkling drinks. I saw a sign that said I could get two sparkling fruit drinks for $10. Three words: Sign me up! I got Kinson at the ordering area. He was great stepping me through everything. I let him know that this promotion interested me. He asked if I wanted one of each fruit flavour. Yes! My order consisted of the following: - Sparkling orange - Sparkling peach Each drink contains fruit, sparkling water, and konjac. I paid with a credit card. I tapped and I was done. He let me know that it wouldn't take long for my drinks to be made. The wait time wasn't much. The seating area had just cleared, so I could take photos of the branded throw pillows, various decorated bear figures holding tea cups in slings, and a wall celebrating a hundred years of tea love. It's my kind of tea joint. I stood next to looseleaf teas in mini containers. I smelled a number of them as I waited. They were so fragrant that I didn't want to leave! I love smelling these teas: - Cassia black - Dong ding oolong - Green - Black - Osmanthus oolong - High mountain pouchong My drinks came in one size. It seemed to be the case for all drinks on the menu. I like that you can customize your drink. There's a menu that steps you through it, from the type of tea that you want brewed, to the flavours and toppings that you want in it. If you find this method to be too complicated, it does have popular teas that are already configured, so you don't have to. I liked that I didn't have to fuss with my order. It was exactly what I wanted. My receipt had a number on it. Their system has an automated voice that calls out your order number. it was a nice change of pace. I could clearly hear my order number called out. I'm sure staff were happy to save their vocal cords, too. My drinks were on the counter. You can help yourself to a tray, which I did. My drinks looked good. What I should have done was sipped both before walking to my car. This place was so generous with the pour that my drinks were topped to the brim. One of my drinks did spill out a bit as I was about to go through the doors. Oops. I stopped to sip both of them. I was good! I got to my car and safely put my drinks down in my caddy. Just from sipping them, I loved the flavours so much. The orange one had slices of orange and chewy konjac. It was slightly sweet and fizzy. It was cheerful to drink. I had the orange slices, minus the peel, of course. Yum! The peach drink was equally as awesome. It was bubbly, with generous chunks of peach and konjac. It was fruity and chewy. So good! Both were so refreshing on a hot July evening. I'm glad that I got two drinks. I enjoyed my first two drinks from this tea place. I'll be back for more! (301)
