Well, after putting up with a myriad of country pubs I finally found myself in Penola, and you can be assured, with it being in the heart of a major wine growing region that it is going to be somewhat better than what happens to be around the place. Well, that was the case with this pub, especially when it came down to the selection of beers on tap. In fact the selection was pretty good, with I quite appreciated. The other thing is that as a pub I quite liked it, with the great atmosphere and all that. Oh, and they also have a rather nice beer garden as well. read more
